I have carbide tips on my poles, and I hesitated using them on concrete or hard surfaces. The rubber “boots” took seconds to slip on, and I have used them on hard surfaces as well as grass.

These rubber tips consistently fell off my Leki Nordic walking poles but I fixed that by wrapping a rubber band at the end of the pole for more bulk and friction to hold the tips on. Also, past rubber tips have worn out quickly with the metal pole tip breaking through the rubber. I'm hoping to extend the life of the rubber tip by inserting a piece of hard plastic inside and blunting the metal pole tip with a cap end nut.

they work on my poles but are not the exact same tips that came with the poles so they work a little different.

The add said that the tips fit Leki poles, but apparently they only fit the one piece poles. Another thing the tips did not last as long as expected I only got a few miles on them before the carbide tips started to come through. In order to make them stay on the poles I had to use caulking to account for the extra room in the tip.

These last a long time!! Bought my first pair in December and I am still using them! So this order is waiting in the cupboard. I walk 2-3 miles a day on asphalt...

Wouldn't stay on the tips of my poles! And I thought I was getting a good deal, but the cost of the shipping was more then the purchase price, so very bad investment!

I don't like the grip as much. But over all they are good. Not worth the extra money however. I will go back to the cheaper ones.
