Fun and Nostalgic
Thrilled to find these. I was gifted some as a child, but they're long gone. They're great fun to inflate and bat around. Light as air - kids (and adults) can play with these without any fear of damaging anything in the house. They make great stocking stuffers. They're well made. I would order from this seller again.

Stronger than they look
Great fun and quite durable. Lasts a long time. Great for entertaining kids or adults stuck in places like airports.

Quirky, wonderful, fun!
I love LOVE these paper “balloons”. I bought them for my son’s 4th birthday & I admit, I had more fun with them, but he also enjoyed them. If you’re a fan of Japanese objects generally (I am) then you’ll enjoy these. Great objects.

Didn't self inflate from smacking.
Sturdy, well-made, good quality, and a good buy. Once inflated they work great, but I thought they were supposed to inflate them selves while being smacked. I could be wrong. When they're inflated they're great.

Fun and different
I read about this type of paper balloon ("kamifusen") in Physics Today, and decided to look for them on Amazon. You inflate them, and they stay inflated even though the inflation hole stays open. Batting them around can actually make them inflate more! (The Physics Today article was about how this happens.) I gave one to a five year old, and she enjoyed batting it around her house. (What five year old doesn't enjoy batting balls around inside? These are light enough not to do damage.) She also enjoyed crumpling it, but it was possible to re-inflate it and go on.

Terriffic
I have been buying these for years. They are paper with a small hole on one side. You just blow it up like a balloon. The paper is stiff so you can toss it up in the air and bat it around and it doesn't collapse. We always had them out at Christmas and tried to see how long we could keep it from hitting the floor while we were opening presents. It is so light that it does no damage. My kids think they are a part of Christmas.
