Good quality food for my pets

This is a very handy protein source for my Chinese Box Turtles. It contains several protein sources, which is good for their nutrition. I just mix it in with their veggie buffet, add a little water, and let it all sit for a few minutes before presenting it to my turtles. They love it and just gobble it right up. I have raised my girls from hatchlings, and they are almost three years old now and are healthy and growing. I feed the Mazuri every other day. The food is a good value for the money. I highly recommend it.

The pellets are much smaller than I had expected them to be. they're not nearly as porous as most turtle foods I've purchased in the past. they almost feel oily to the touch? but overall they seem to be high quality. They don't smell nearly as bad as other turtle foods I've purchased, and haven't dirtied up the water. My RES seems to be indifferent to the flavor and eats them along with the rest of his food just fine. Bag was smaller than expected, but so was the pellet size. EDIT: I've been feeding this to my turtle for about 7 months now and i've noticed a significant improvement in his color. His scales and shell are more vibrant, and while his eyes were always clear, they now look even brighter. The most noticeable change has been his red ear, it's a vivid red now. it had been darkening with age (he's 17), which I had assumed was normal. I still don't like how much corn/wheat/soy/gluten meal they shove into this, but clearly it must be doing something right with vitamins that the others don't. I'm going to continue to keep this food in with his pellet rotation, but the price is still a bit high for the amount of product you're actually getting.

Great product for aquatic turtles.

This is great turtle food but I've found the smell changes after a few months since first opening the container, even if the container is always re-sealed. For this reason I keep the main bag in the freezer and take out small amounts to feed my turtle. My musk turtle really likes this food and always eats it with gusto and great interest. This is the only turtle food I know of that contains pork and pork bones as well as chicken. Very complete nutrition.

My turtle go crazy with Mazuri but beware don't feed to turtle eveyday, my turtle had diarrhea when fed everyday. So I had to give it once or twice a week only, which was also my initial feeding schedule for this specific pellet.

My turtle was going through a brief 'hunger strike' so I decided to change up his diet to get him interested in food again. It worked! He loves this! I will definitely be buying it again.
