This safe meet all those criteria and was easy to install
We searched for a first floor safe to store our guns and ammo when returning home and to have an accessible weapon on the first floor in case of an intruder. The main requirements were safe and secure from our four children, the ability to put it in an un-noticable location and be able to store two weapons with ammo and flashlights. This safe meet all those criteria and was easy to install. There is a shelf for added storage. We ended up purchasing strong magnets to hold our guns and magazine so they were not loose in the safe. Easy to use keypad entry as well.

Product Dimesions are incorrect in Description
It is a fine, sturdy wall safe. The only real issue is that the dimensions listed in the Item Description do not match the actual delivered item. The Item Description says the unit is 21"H X 14.5"W X 6"Deep. None of those is correct. Item is actually 22"H X16.125"W X 4"Deep. The real problem though is that the install width of the unit is not 12.25" as is stated in description but is actually 14.125" wide which makes installing it very difficult if your 2X4 walls are spot on at 13.75" between studs as most are (mine included). While I appreciate the extra bit of room in the safe, it was not fun to install and required way more work than it should have. Description sizes need to be updated in the listing.

Ok for the price
It's OK for the price. But control panel looks recessed but the knob does stick out a little above the lip. Making it harder to hide. Also arrived with all shelves and screws loose on the inside..

Instructions on opening safe to reset combination was very poor. Shelves were loose inside safe and jammed door closed. Lose a lot of space behind locking panel.

Great if you have kids and things walk but nobody knows why.
No issues here easy install, must have to keep things from walking away. Kids just say no!

Very happy with this purchase!
Excellent value! Fit right between studs with about 1/4" to spare. The guts of the lock intrude into the middle shelf space as others have mentioned on this style safe. Minor blemish on one corner outside but well worth price paid. Buying another for a friend as soon as I verify stud spacing at their house.

Great value
Great value mine was delivered with a bend in it. The only thing that would be better is if tou could shut off the beeping noise when putting in the code. I store my gun in mine and if I ever need it in the night it makes too much noise.
