Great teapot
Love this tea pot! Very cute and amazing quality. Easy to clean as I never let water sit in it so it has stayed in great shape. You can make loose leaf tea easily or just boil water. Handle can get hot

Trains you NOT to use boiling hot water for tea.
Yup, you will learn real fast green teas are best when not made with boiling water. The cups will burn your fingers. But once it’s cooled off a bit my jasmine tea flavor blossomed into a lovely tea. As someone who grew up drinking English style tea with cream and sugar I am now off all dairy and although I find oat and barley milks, especially barley, fine with coffee, I hate them with tea so I’m switching to green teas. This is a nice little pot. Gives you that nice tea time experience that those of us who drink tea really love. We are in a bell glam tent after the fires here in Oregon waiting for our house and I can use this in the tent with a propane burner. It makes enough for two or three medium cups of tea or more with the little cups that come with it. Very pretty blue and quite heavy. I’m no expert in these types of teapots, but I really like it. The wrapped handle stayed useable, not too hot to handle.

Feels substantial in the hand, love it.
Its nice and heavy and looks good on my table. The tea is the same from any teapot, however the first hot water I put in this had an iron taste, second time was fine. I have not noticed any cracking or flaking from the ceramic layer inside

Anyone who loves to drink tea, should have this set!
This is a delightful set and makes enough tea for several cups. It is very attractive and nicely made. It has a large strainer for plenty of tea; it is lined on the inside with ceramic, as are the cups, and comes with a lid lifter and matching trivet. It's everything you need for a tea party. I brew exquisite Pu'er tea in it for a lovely tea experience. Just make sure you let the cups cool a bit!

Cups get really hot. Cups are very small.
The cups are cast iron and make drinking the hot tea a slow process waiting for the cup to cool. When trying to replicate the experience of a great Asian restaurant, this set is probably not a good beginner set. The teapot is lovely but make sure to clean per the instructions because some manufacturing left overs get removed during the process. The cups just seem to be a separate style from the pot. A good match but still a slightly different style, important if aesthetics are important. When the cup finally cools enough to be handled, unfortunately the tea is now tepid. This would make a great set for a gift or to be displayed. Actual use is not optimal unfortunately.

Not a whistling teapot
I love my teapot. Use it all the time. Be aware, if you are used to a whistling teapot, this is not a whistler. You have to pay attention. There is a learning curve. Other than that, it's an amazing teapot!

Super cute AND functional!
So far I’ve made about 10pots of various teas and heated water up, and it’s been great! Perfect for two mugs. I love that it’s both pretty and functional! I haven’t found any defects in the enamel but have been pretty diligent about drying it off to avoid rust spots. It’s cast iron, gotta take reasonable care of it. The deep teal and brushed accent gold is surprisingly nice, not cheap looking as I feared it might be. So far no paint chipping or rubbing off either, though as I said, I’ve tried to take decent care of it, neither scrubbing it hard or leaving it wet. I also have an electric stove, so no idea if an open flame would affect the finish differently. Little detail- the spout is perfectly designed so it pours beautifully and doesn’t drip or run down the spout - this seems like a small thing, but considering dispensing liquid in a neat manner is it’s primary function, its kind of important! I can’t tell you how many tea pots I’ve head that always drip down the spout, leaving wetness or tea stains on surfaces underneath the pot. Overall I’m very happy and would def recommend!
