Incredible power — perfect for car audio setups
If you’re like me and run car stereo equipment, this battery is a must-have — just make sure you use a battery isolator. This XS Power D3400 3300 Amp AGM Battery is a beast. It completely stops your dome light and headlights from dimming, even under heavy load. You can hook it up to another car with jumper cables, and they can start their vehicle immediately — no waiting. I’ve ordered this battery three times for different setups, and it never disappoints. Highly recommend it, especially if you’re a bass head like me.

Read your paperwork
All these people on here saying it only lasted xx long is because they most likely let it die and just threw a battery charger on it or jump started it and not realizing or reading the paperwork that came with the battery it clearly states proper charging is crucial #1 you need an AGM battery charger these are special in that it puts out a MAX of 2.4 volts per cell 2nd temperature is huge AGM batteries operate with less electrolyte possible on a slight air pressure. This air pressure allows the water produced under discharge to condensate therefore recycle inside the battery under proper charging (voltage and temperature) almost no gasses escape but overcharging will cause small amounts of electrolytes to be "gassed" out of the safety valves and once the oxygen is vented it cannot be restored results will be reduced capacity not accept charge etc.. these are permanent and void warranty

Great Battery, performs exactly how you would expect for this price and size!
I have a small SUV (2005 Escape) that I use to do a ton of the grid camping. This battery perform solidly year round and never complained about me needing to steal it's power to run other overnight accessories: included running a power inverter and operating/charging multiple laptops or a fan that has a really high power on draw. The vehicle could remain parked in below freezing temperature for weeks at a time and have no problems. NOTE: I REALLY was tempted to give this a 4 star rating as almost 3 years to the date, this battery died. I purchased the battery January 2016. Leading into winter of 2018, I noticed the vehicle starts were slowing down. Alas the vehicle was out of commission over the winter (end of November) and was not started for 3-4 months (beginning of March); at which point the battery was so dead there was no reviving it (tried charging, but seems there were several cell outs, it never could reach over 12v). So, I know the battery was starting to get a bit tired, but I can't say for sure how much life it really had left (3-4 months with weeks at below freezing could have zapped any stalwart battery)...

Awesome!
Top quality design, and #1 battery! Night and day difference! My Taramp 5k smart amp wasn’t getting the power with those auto parts store AGM’s, so after reading all the positive reviews I went ahead and bought this battery. Let me tell you, I notice the difference immediately more powerful sound and more volume without the amp going into protective mode. Sub was hitting the lows 28hz and bass meter reading 2,[email protected] 13.7v 141db. Volume couldn’t go pass 22 without clipping, now it goes 28 and with more fine tuning it will be a beast. Oh, sub is wired to 0.8ohms and running only on a 150a alternator.

Great battery, crappy adapters.
The battery is heavier than your average AGM battery from your local auto parts store. The overall battery feels and provides great power. However, the adapters that they offer are very poor. In my case, it's the 551 Side post adapters by XS Power. You need these side post adapters to convert it to a Group 78 battery (ie. Mid-80's -> Mid 90's GM) You will need to dremel out the underside as from the factory they come out of shape and undersized. After that, you'll need to check if your battery cable bolt can fit, the threads are too shallow and you'll need to drill or dremel out the remaining lead behind the threads and re-tap so the bolt can sit flush.
