TAM58547 The Midnight Pumpkin, Black Edition 1/12 Monster Truck Kit, Brown

I bought this, because I thought it was a good price for this kit. The description states that a speed control is included, so I thought it was an awesome price. The ESC is *not* included. I have to use a Hobbywing 1060 (nib that I already have on hand, luckily), and need to buy another one for a project I already have lined up. If you're thinking of buying this one, you're still going to have to come up with an ESC, which is at least $20, so tack that on to the price. UPDATE: The seller agreed to a $20 refund due to the lack of ESC.

I purchased three of these Tamiya kits from this seller. All were advertised as containing ESC. Non had an ESC. Bad product discription. Will change feed back if ESC is provided.

Wonderful r/c kit that doesn’t take long to put together. Make sure to find compatible controller, receiver, servo, etc. to complete the build. Easily upgradable with suspension, motor, bearings, etc. to fit your terrain/usage.

This was a great gift for my husband to bring back some childhood memories, but the extra pieces needed were not as easily available or the prices are a little much.

Very happy with purchase except for lack of ESC as advertised. WHY has this not been addressed?

First off NO ESC included as in description that was an extra $25 Servo-Save broke on first battery (2 were included with kit made second one work and ordered aluminum replacement off ebay) Other than that great kit Fun to build We took our time and my son and I completed the kit in about 9 hours total

Genuine Tamiya Black Edition brand new in the package straight from Japan. To my surprise, it arrived quickly and shipping was VERY cheap!!

The kit is great but the description on this product page incorrectly states this kit includes an Electronic Speed Controller. IT DOES NOT INCLUDE AN ESC.

I bought this monster truck because it was my first hobby grade rc as a kid. Built the kit in a couple hours. Fairly easy build to do.
