GM Genuine Parts 12670574 Drive Belt Tensioner

Good GM Part, great price discounted for packaging damage, went on easy, quieted front of motor down with this and new serpentine. Went on my 2015 Silverado 1500 5.3 all stock with 130K miles on the original parts. All good 👍👍!

This is the exact replacement and per my mechanic it has been revised by GM to upgrade performance.

Exact replacement for a 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 5.3L engine. While doing some other work, I replaced all my belts, and this tensioner at 100,000 miles. The original one was still fine, but the roller/ pulley was starting to get a little loose and noisy. This seems to be a high quality part, but is it worth almost double the cost of after market brands? At almost, $60 (with discount) I’m not convinced the quality is worth the money. While I do normally stick to GM original parts, this is such a simple component, I will probably opt for a cheaper 3rd party one next time. It’s very easy to change out in the future if I ever need to. I’m only docking a star off my review for GM’s excessive up-charge.
