This Bioderma shampoo is a great option to cleanse and re balance my scalp, while softening my frizzy ends (along with a good conditioner). Even if I have straight fine hair, I mostly use Curly Girl Method approved shampoos (no silicone or detergent ingredients) and my hair never looked better! I have thin hair and the shampoo doesn't weights it down. It adds some shine and radiance, but nothing spectacular. Along with my conditioner it adds a nice softness to my hair. My scalp is very sensitive, many shampoos give me dandruff or itchiness, but I didn't experience any issues with the Bioderma Node Fluide. My hair is slightly oily, not greasy, and the shampoo didn't had an impact on how often I need to wash my hair. I do have to admit that the first washes, while my hair adjusted to the shampoo, my hair got oilier a little faster than usual; so I'd advise trying to let the hair adjust to this shampoo before making any judgements. It does a nice mild lather, I'm used to gentle shampoo formulas which don't suds a lot, so for me it's more than enough to get a good wash. Every 4-5 washes I do use a cleansing shampoo, but for my regular washes I prefer non-detergent formulas like this. The major caveat for me is that the shampoo is really liquid, almost like water. I personally can't manage to pour it in my hands without slipping. So my solution is to pour it directly on my scalp, which sometimes makes me dispense more than needed. The shampoo has a scent, something herbal and medicinal, which doesn't linger in the hair after washing.

It's not heavy, yet it gives a good lather. I love the the clean it gives and I would recommend it to anyone. It looks like it's just water but it does the job. Also, it has a clean scent which makes you enjoy shampooing your hair. I will buy this again.

I’m not going to go on about the smell since some people like it, and some people don’t, I do. I’m not going to complain about how runny it is, because it is, but it means there’s no junk in it. Just put a little in your hand and immediately put it on your hair, do that again… And you’re good to go, it will lather enough to gently clean. Is it expensive? I don’t think so when you factor in that the consistency allows more to fit in the bottle. I have fine hair and it doesn’t weigh it down. What it does do is prevent me from having to wash my hair more often because it balances your scalp so hair doesn’t get oily/greasy between washes. It also prevents itchy scalp, which I get in summer because I hike a lot and get sweaty. Nobody on here is writing about how it doesn’t clog your pipes with soap scum! I live in a 60+ year old house, with original plumbing, and it doesn’t cause water backup because of buildup...again, that’s the junk you don’t need. My French grandma always used French products when I was young, but I bought into all of the advertising on tv. It took me well into adulthood to finally go by grandma’s recommendations and use French products. They are just better; they work better, better for animals, better for the earth. I also use Bioderma skincare.

I'm a French woman living in NYC, and i was so glad to be able to order this shampoo. I have relatively fine hair and an easily itchy scalp. It's a staple in my family, as it cleans very gently and really help rebalance my sensitive scalp (get itchy easily). The consistency maybe surprising for those trying for the first time, but it's because it has none of the sh*tty stuff! Also, a little goes a long way (don't add more even if there is little foam, that's ok!) so the price is really good. I recommend using this shampoo + Phyto 7 cream for the best hair you've ever had ;-)

This Shampoo smells very fresh & clean. My hair stays light & bouncy for days because it cleans the follicle of the hair root it makes it possible for me to go a few days in between cleansing.

I was looking for something that would be as non-itchy and prevented flaking as old Ionil T before Ionil T, after 40+ years of being wonderful, changed its formulation. Bioderma says it has no detergents but it does have a laur- compound (sodium lauroyl oat amino acids). If that's not the culprit, one of the other sodium compounds or something else on the long ingredient list must be: this shampoo irritates as soon as I put it on my head.

This shampoo didn't work for me. It has the consistency of water, so it really works best if you just squirt it on your head instead of letting it slip through your fingers, which it will, because it is like water. It surprisingly lathers, which I liked. The smell is something like a grape eraser you'd have in grade school? It really over-cleaned my fine blonde hair and left it looking a mess. My 10 year old daughter loved the smell and it worked great on her super thick brunette hair, so I gave it to her!

Das Shampoo ist sehr flüssig fast wie ein dickeres Wasser und schäumt kaum - wie ich es erwartet hatte bei einem milden Produkt. Es reinigt meine Haare super sanft und macht sie direkt weich. Wie auch die alcina sauer Spülung habe ich dieses Produkt über einen Blog empfohlen bekommen und daher bestellt. Bin sehr zufrieden - preis/Leistung perfekt!

Dermatologist told me I had dermatitis I think it was on my scalp. Suffered from dry, flaky scalp and regular shampoo was too drying. This is gentle enough to clean scalp and not leave that tight/dry feeling. Helped clear up my dermatitis and now I can use regular shampoo sometimes. I would recommend using this on scalp but then using regular shampoo away from scalp to really clean your hair. Otherwise just using the bioderma shampoo can leave your hair still feeling a bit oily (unless you wash your hair every day or other day).
