I love this glider board for my City Select and it ...
I was hesitant to buy this product because of all the negative reviews but as I sifted through and read them it seems that most people who have the City Select (as I do) have had no issues. It's the people who have the other models that are having difficulty. With that said, I love this glider board for my City Select and it folds up nicely and I have no problem with my feet running into it. My daughter, 2 yrs old, is definitely not the "sit in stroller" type gal anymore, especially since we live in So Cal where we take her place to place in a car so she hasn't been used to sitting in the stroller for long periods of time, except when we go to NY and I force her to. Anyways, we were planning a trip to Disneyland and I figured I'd gamble and get this glider board hoping that she would ride it since theres no way I can carry her around anymore (esp being 8 months pregnant!). She loved it!! She loved the idea of being on it and had no problems with it. The only thing is that I have the Baby Bee Haven organizer (which I loved on my sisters bumble ride but doesn't exactly perfectly fit on the city select anyway) and it was in her way when she was on the glider so I had to remove it. She can hang onto the seat in front of her or on the side handles, head fitting through the handlebar. What I love most about this glider board is that you can "hang it up" when you are not using it because it comes with 2 elastic straps that can hang on the lower bar of the stroller. Also I love that it folds up neatly whether you "hang it up" or not.

LOVE This Product!
I LOVE this idea! I saw a lady with this on her stroller and I literally chased her down like a crazy person to ask her where she got it. We are taking my 2-year-old and 5-year-old to Disney World in 2 weeks and I was worried that my 5-year-old would get extremely tired walking around all day. This is the perfect solution because I don't have to buy a brand new stroller or rent a double stroller once we get there. I have a Graco Snugride stroller. I was worried that this wouldn't fit because it's made for the Baby Jogger brand. It fits my stroller perfectly. It attaches to the bar across the back of the stroller and the attachment tightens almost like a zip tie. I would imagine that as long as your stroller has a bar across the back of the stroller (at wheel height) that it would fit your stroller as well. Some Notes on Use: My daughter (5) is 40lbs. and my son (2) is 30lbs. I am an average-sized woman and I don't find this too hard or heavy to push. My daughter needs the glider to be fully extended in order to stand upright. I am 5'7" and I occasionally kick the glider while walking, but not so much that I'm annoyed by it. My husband is 5'11" and he finds it to be more of a challenge. This works best on flat surfaces. We tested this by going up and down ramps. Going up isn't horrible, but when we went down I felt like my body placement was forced to be too far away from the stroller and I didn't have enough control over speed or direction. My daughter is unable to stand on the glider unless my son is sitting in the stroller because the weight tips the stroller backward slightly. (Not enough to tip the stroller. The unbalanced weight causes the glider to tip forward and rest on the side that has no wheels, which causes the front 2 stroller wheels to lift.) The glider has 2 elastic straps with hooks to store it up and out of the way when not in use and we are able to use those just fine with our Graco stroller. Unfortunately, it does not tuck in nicely anywhere when we fold the stroller up, so we will have to remove it anytime we get on a Disney bus or put it in the trunk of our small car. I didn't expect this to be perfect because it wasn't made for our stroller brand but it is pretty close to perfect. I love it more every time I use it and I think this is going to save us from having a tired and crabby 5-year-old at Disney. Note to Disney-Goers: Skateboards are not allowed in Disney parks. I called ahead and verified that I was okay to bring this because it does look kind of like a skateboard. I was told that as long as it is attached to the stroller it is considered a stroller accessory and is allowed. As soon as it is detached it becomes a skateboard and is not allowed. (The glider board only has 2 wheels and wouldn't work unless attached to the stroller anyway.)

Really happy! We have the 2016 city select with the ...
Really happy! We have the 2016 city select with the second seat, trays, a city versa, a summit x3 with belly bar, trays, & weather shield so I feel like I could say I know a bit about baby jogger. We also bought a city mini gt for our sister as a gift. I was loooking for something for my 4 yr old to use for short trips when he wants to walk but also something to keep him close/ safe when he doesn't want to hold my hand or is being dramatic. I read a ton of reviews & was so on the fence about if it would work or if I would like it. I love my 2016 city select except the fact that the seats don't fold that's a huge buzz kill for me & the trays.. don't get me started.. I am the first to tell you the design team for such an expensive stroller really missed on some features. But this gilder board is great !!! It's bigger & taller then I expected. Very sturdy, it does add some weight on to the fold but I'm a healthy/ strong person so I don't mind. Using it on my city select, if I keep it as close to the stroller as possibl, Parent face My 1yr old on the top position, & extent the Handel bar it works PERFECTLY. I'm 5'8 with a long strid & I don't kick it. I bump it here and there but it's not major. My feet do go under it a bit but it doesn't affect my stride. My arms can not be relaxed so I could see it getting uncomfortable to push for hours but who's kid would want to stand that long anyways. After 45 mins my son wants his seat or a brake from walking/ standing. You can not use it comfortable with your top seat forward facing because then you have to extent the board then you're Definitely kicking it when you walk. The board folds right up which I love when we aren't using it. I have had no issues with the boards tires when going backwards or turning in a circle like a few ppl mentioned. It is absolutely what I was looking for. My son jumps on threw the parking lots, hops off in the dr office then gets back on after our appointment! It's so nice to not have to put him in the stoller & have free hands for a second & I'm able to give him more freedom! I did also try it on my summit x3 double and it did not work . Hooked on okay but the handles are in the way & it does not extents enough. And you can't put in all the way over to one side because of the foot brake.

All Terrain Glider for City Select!
I have a city select and a city mini but I first put this on my city select after reading reviews that said it didn't fit well with the mini. I have a son who just turned one and another who will be 3 in a month. The first time I used this was at a county fair where we wheeled over a lot of gravel and grass. I wasn't sure how this would hold up but this thing is solid! It's made very well, as it should be for the price. Yes, it was a little bumpy over the gravel but nothing crazy and my son didn't seem to mind it. In fact he loved riding on this! It's great for an older child who may not need a seat anymore or for shorter strolls or places like a zoo, where your older child will be hopping on and off. It was so convenient for us at the fair and much easier to maneuver than the select with the 2 seats. My son had his head in between the handle bar and the seat and it worked very well with the handles extended out all the way. I had the board pushed in all the way and I did kick it a little while pushing it (I'm 5'3") but my husband didn't seem to have a problem kicking it (he's 6'1"). Maybe his longer arms helped hold the stroller farther away from him. But even for me, it wasn't a nuisance to kick it a few times. This was just so convenient to use. I wish that I could use it on my mini because it does make the select even heavier than it already is and I may still try it on the mini. It's pretty easy to put on/take off so not a big deal to try it out. This is a great addition to our stroller!

Great fit for City SELECT, single seat
I've had a City Select stroller for a while now, and pushing two kids around in it (in double configuration) was wearing me out. I waited until my older child turned 3 (he's lightweight) to buy the glider. When I use it, I take the 2nd seat off, and move the other seat to the "middle" location (i.e., the single configuration). When my older child stands on the board, his head is INSIDE the handlebar, and he's holding on to the back of the seat. He is perfectly comfortable like this, and has yet to bonk his head (the sidewalks in my neighborhood are very wonky, so we've hit plenty of bumps). There is a lot of space between the back of the single seat, and the handlebar. The ride seems plenty smooth and he loves it. I am 5'-3", with a short stride, so I have no problems walking behind the glider. My 6'-0" husband finds it awkward, though, so he extends the handlebar to its longest setting - he doesn't love it but he's not the one pushing the stroller daily! The glider is well made, wheels are very smooth, it installs in half a second, and folds up/down as many times as you need on an outing. It seems a lot of the negative reviews are for other strollers - Baby Jogger claims this board works for all the City and Summit strollers, but that might be a stretch - but it works great for the City Select.

Portable but with short falls
Purchased this to go with our city mini as we were planning a trip to Disneyland. It is very easy to install and adjust. Swings away easily when not in use. Very compact and easy to bring when travelling one of the major reasons we purchased this along with the city mini. Easy for out child to get on and off quickly. Fit our 4 yr old perfectly, however the only way she fits is by placing her head under and between the handle bars. The biggest problem with this glider board is that it is very difficult to turn and maneuver when the child is standing in it. Wheels flex and twist when trying to back up when child is standing on it. Had to have my child step off before backing. Very difficult to steer stroller with glider board in use with one hand. For instance if holding a drink in one hand. The board is right in your stepping path so you end up kicking it frequently or have to lean forward or shorten your steps to avoid this. Another thing is the stroller does not hold in the folded position with board attached. You are able to remove the wheels easily but it still doesn’t fold completely, and who would want to keep taking off and putting back these dirty wheels! This made it difficult to carry onto the shuttle although the stroller is very easy is fold alone. Last thing is that when glider board is folded away it blocks rear access to under stroller storage. In summary, we did research for a stroller that could be used for 2 children that would be portable for travelling. This seemed like the best option out there but there are many things that must be sacrificed. Good for children of only small age range.

Practical Rider: A Dad's Review of the Baby Jogger Glider Board
Let's be honest, double strollers are a pain. They're cumbersome, and maneuvering them through stores or crowds is no picnic. The Baby Jogger Glider Board has become a solid solution for our family outings, making things a lot easier. Straightforward Setup: Putting it together was a breeze. The Glider Board attached easily to the back of both our single and double Baby Jogger strollers. No fancy tools, just a simple click-and-go system. Happy Kid, Happy Outing: My 3-year-old likes the Glider Board. It gives her a place to rest her legs when she's tired of walking. This has been a big help on longer walks and errands. Single Stroller Wins Again: The best part for me? We can ditch the double stroller for most trips now. The Glider Board lets us use the single stroller, which is a major space saver, especially when traveling or dealing with crowded areas. The Bottom Line: The Baby Jogger Glider Board is a useful addition to our stroller gear. It's convenient, easy to use, and keeps my daughter happy on the go. If you're a dad looking to simplify your stroller setup and make outings with two little ones smoother, this is definitely worth considering.
