My sons go to story for two winters. It’s classic shenanigans for Amelia Bedelia, though some things had to be explained because (like most older Amelia Bedelia books) there’s a few things your kids may not have heard of- like popcorn balls and date cake. Either way, it’s a favorite in this house from late October all the way through February

I used to teach elementary school. I always read these to the kids. My wife had never heard of Amelia, so I bought had this book.

This was my favorite book as a child. It brings back so many fond memories of going to the school library every year right before Christmas vacation so that I could take it with me and have it during the whole two weeks of Christmas break to myself. When I found it on amazon I just had to buy it. It was always hilarious how Amelia did everything all wrong and I always found it funny how she was left with instructions that were very vague, only in her mind of course. I remember always wondering how it was possible that she didnt know about Christmas decorations at her age because you would assume shes seen Christmas all her life. I am going to be graduating soon and start teaching, and I know that this is definitely going to be one of the books that I will be sharing with my students. I cant wait to read it to them and get to do it all over again!

Santa brought it for my daughter a few days before Christmas. This was her first Amelia book. She loves it. She’s in first grade and can’t read it just fine. Although sometimes she misses the joke. People dont talk like this anymore, so I have to explain it to her. But she still loves them as much as I did.

Ordered this book as a Christmas gift for my twin 7 year olds. I remembered reading Amelia Bedelia as a child. This book amuses me, my twins & their older siblings. So fun!!

Parent of small child asked for this on their behalf and was thrilled. It was enjoyed and will be for Christmases to come!
