Fast shipping & product in great condition. The recipe book has a lot of interesting empanada recipes. I made the Argentina one tonight and really enjoyed it. I recommend this book to anyone looking for empanada recipe ideas. EDIT: This is insane, I never wrote the above review! I rarely write reviews but today I discovered all sorts of reviews for the stuff Ive purchased on Amazon. My point here is that I think this is a scam where my account was hacked and my profile is being used for fake reviews. All the reviews “faked” for me have been positive and well written but it’s invasive and misleading. I just wanted to make anyone actually reading reviews aware of this and bring light to this scam. I’m planning to write this on all my fake reviews so check them out as well and see the volume of hacked reviews I have.

I didn’t know anything about this type of cooking and I bought this recipe book. There’s a lot of really good recipes in it and then not really hard to make.!

I couldn't decide which one I wanted to try first--the classics fried yucca empanadas and Argentine beef with olives and tomatoes, or the more creative, like Thanksgiving empanadas with all the trimmings or Columbian-inspired potato and peanut. And for dessert, how about chocolate and dulce de leche or s'mores? Fried, baked, vegetarian or sweet, there's an empanada here to delight everyone's taste buds!

I thought this book would provide many diff types of empanadas to make. Iam Argentinian, so I'm well versed in making & eating empandas. It's more like a pamphlet & none of the recipes were new to me. It was.not worth the price. To someone who is just learning to make these delicious treats savory or sweet will find it helpful & not intimidating.

Arrived in a fast and timely manner. Lots of fun and easy recipe ideas. It was what I was looking for, would highly recommend this book..

There are decent starting point recipes in this book, but also a lot of mistakes. If you're already a good cook and can improvise, this is a good way to get ideas, but if you aren't I wouldn't recommend. For instance: this recipe is cheese spinach and bacon, but there is no bacon in the ingredients list, or in the directions, so you just have to wing it on amounts for the bacon. This isn't the only recipe like that either. I gave it four stars because I was able to alter recipes as needed and I experiment enough in the kitchen I can make it work.
