I had purchased these knives a while back and didn't do a review at that time, but after having a steak dinner with my daughter recently and saw how dull her steak knives were compared to these, I had to come back to look these up again so I can get her some. I have been through sharp knives but these are the sharpest knives out there and the only kind I will use now. They will cut you like a razor blade can if you are not careful. I know when I put them in the sink I have to make sure they are laid out so they can be seen and pointed in the right direction to avoid being getting cut. My daughter's knives might not have been really dull and it could have been just where these had me spoiled on cutting steak so easily. If you want good steak knives, these are the best and I very highly recommend!!

I am a fan of this brand for all kitchen knives. I have investigated cutlery and kitchen knives in depth. And virtually all areas you cannot beat Victorinox Knives in terms of bang for the buck. Certainly these are as good or better than many high-dollar priced brands. They are razor sharp and stay that way. I will say we do not put them in the dishwasher. Also we picked the round tip rather than the pointed tip to avoid accidents. While I am reviewing this steak Knife collection I will say you can't go wrong with any Victorinox Knives. If you are looking for the basic kitchen knives like a chef's knife or meat knife look at their products. They are excellent, long lasting and priced properly.

We bought a some similar knives and they lasted at least 20 years. These seem to be better quality so worth the investment.

These absolutely are excellent. Very sharp (be careful) but cut through not only steak but veggies, etc. I have had a set for over a year and use the knives for most everything. I use them so much I have just ordered another set. Dishwasher safe and still look like new. Frankly, these are the best knives that I have ever owned so don't hesitate to get them. The only reminder, be careful when you first get them as they are very very sharp. You get use to them quickly.

These knives are top quality. They are very sharp and easily cut through steaks etc. This our second purchase of these knives and our original knives are just as sharp and sturdy as the ones we just bought!
