recently tried the Truremedy Naturals Lavender Shea Butter Body Wash for Women, and I absolutely love it! The soothing blend of aloe and lavender makes shower time super relaxing, and the shea butter leaves my skin soft and hydrated. It lathers really well and rinses off easily, without any residue. I got this because I needed a nice anti bacterial soap and this one came highly reviewed and praised. I can not totally see why as it is really great especially for a bigger guy such as myself. The good: Nice fresh clean smell and feel. I didn't really get that menthol-like feel which is fine because I was actually worried about it being over powering, but it actually was fine. I've heard some people say it has a good mint feeling but I didn't honestly get that too much (again for me, that's a plus). It has a nice smell of mint without being an over powering type of mint. It's very subtle in it's smell afterwards but it helps stop odors for sure especially for bigger people who have more odor areas and issues like that. This will help with those areas and keep you smelling fresh. It also helps areas if you get a blood boil or raised bumps that could become infected. This stuff is antibacterial so it will help those problem areas stay safe and out of infection territory which isn't a place anyone wants to be. Lastly, this stuff is packed in a small bottle but a little bit really does go a long way. Start out with a little bit on your hand and lather. You'll get a decent amount of showers out of it before you have to replace. Wish it was a bigger bottle but glad it lasts! The bad: I don't know if it's because I seem to have the most sensitive skin ever or what (or maybe it's just how the soap is supposed to be), It would really take some of the moisture out of the skin which is weird with how much oils are in the product. It could have been simply it was taking some of the bad moisture out (because bigger people have that issue) and perhaps that's what was happening. Not really a big deal, just something I noticed. Didn't cause any issues. The only other issue I had was that you are really getting a tiny bottle for the price compared to my other soaps. This is definitely one of the more expensive soaps I use which is alright, but I wish the price was a little bit lower. Thankfully a little bit goes a long way with this stuff! Overall this product is an ally especially for bigger people with some skin issues. It's not overpowering like some mint products I have seen on the market. I just would have liked to see a more consumer friendly price but I assume inflation didn't help. Either way, hands down I'll buy it again when I run out. Seriously a great soap for the bigger people!

I have psoriasis, eczema and keratosis pilaris. The Truremedy body washes truly help soothe and moisturize my skin during flare ups and calm the itch as well. Due to health issues I take many medications and many of them affect body odor so I range from smelling like a chemical lab to must. I wash twice during one shower with the truremedy soap and all the odors are gone for about 24 hours, unless I work up a heavy sweat or am sick, but I would shower a second time when those occur no matter what wash I'm using. I only need about a half dollar size amount of soap per scrub as it lathers very quickly and the lather is thick and lasting. Though the tea tree does smell strong at times, it doesn't linger on your skin leaving you smelling like it, but rather just fresh and clean. Each bottle lasts me about 2.5 months which is worth it for me.

I was initially disappointed with this product, having gotten used to a previous purchase of shower gel that had very strong scents of tea tree oil and peppermint, but now that I've used this Truremedy shower soap, I find myself liking it more. My gel was pretty thick and lasted a lot longer on my wash cloth. This soap is more liquid-y, and thus it seems to dissipate faster than the gel, but when I realized the difference between a soap and a gel, it makes sense. I find it cleans well, lasts on the washcloth, and the smell is pleasant without being overpowering. I'm happy with it, but I'll have a decision to make as to whether to reorder this stuff, or go back to my old shower gel. Bottom line, it's good enough to be considered again.

I definitely don’t think of tea tree oil being moisturizing but this soap is soft, silky, and foamy, ultimately moisturizing the skin. Great product, great smell. This has become my husband’s go-to soap. Great for washing up after a workout, yard work, and normal, easy daily use.

I’ve only been using this soap for 2 days. The scent isn’t bad and the soap doesn’t lather much...however, I have never felt so clean. Not drying at all either.

I know it's an expensive product.. But this is the only shower gel which stops my skin from getting irritated after I shave. Since I've known myself I always had this issue, my skin always got irritated the next day after I shaved my body. This is amazing!
