STIHL FS40 27.2CC PETROL GRASS TRIMMER STRIMMER

I use this to strim around head stones at our local church, it is light weight (no harness) comfortable to hold with both hands, very little in the way of petrol Fumes, which is a bonus as, nothing worse than petrol fumes !! It is robust and during the summer months i can get around a large church yard with just two tank loads of petrol mixed with 2 stroke oil. Typical well made Stihl quality strimmer.

A beast of a machine. Starts easily every time. Wearing goggles is a must. Cuts through grass and weeds like butter. Make sure you use the correct thickness of cutting cord though. The manual advises on the required thickness. It comes with cord installed but you will need more in time. Highly recommend. Can’t beat Stihl for quality.

An absolute beast, cuts through everything, great product.

I can’t stand setting tools up so this was great as it didn’t really need much. The strumming wire is a little fiddly but once you get used to it it’s fine. All in all it does a decent job for what I needed it for (general maintenance of a big overgrown paddock)

This is a very good little machine, it can handle everything my pervious (much bigger) strimmer could. Easy to start, light, manoeuvrable and effective.
