Gnirue Natural Granite Handmade Stone Mill/Grinder (11.8Wx15.7L)

I received my 13.8 x 17.7 stone grinder today. When order said arrival between Nov.7 to Dec. 5. It arrived on Nov 7...which is awesome 👍. Easily put together. This thing is beautiful ❤️. I Ground hard wheat immediately. If you can zoom in on the picture what's in the bowl is the first pass. I love it

I bought the 11.8x15.7" model. It arrived in good condition with 26 days shipping time which was reasonable since it weighs 57lbs and came from the other side of the world. There were no shipping updates between start of shipping and notification of arrival. No instructions came with the mill, which required some experimentation to determine proper operation. When grinding Hard Red Winter Wheat, I found that alternating 4 turns clockwise to grind, and 1/4 turn counterclockwise to feed worked well. When grinding the softer Einkorn wheat, 2 turns clockwise to grind, and 1/4 turn counterclockwise to feed worked. It is easy to turn, and produces a medium fine flour, about what my metal burr grinder produces. Probably about 1 cup in 5 minutes. The adhesive rubber for the frame and feet worked well to prevent it from sliding on a smooth surface. The non-grinding surfaces have a smooth surface finish which makes a beautiful look. Two handles were provided in the order, and I modified one handle to make the insertion dowel longer so that it would not come loose during operation.

It is beautiful blue stone work of art. easy to assemble. Glad to have it set up in the living room as a show piece.

As expected, stone feels solid and was cut very smoothly. Need a solid place to put it when using otherwise on its wood stand it can move around unless holding it with one hand and grinding with the other. Comes with a spare spindle and handle assembly. And it is fairly heavy. Package says 20kg. Haven't tested out anything to grind just yet but it looks like it will work well.
