Best stuff for terra cotta pots
I had two very large Italian clay/terra cotta pots -- the size for small trees -- and knew from past experience that they must be well-sealed, both to avoid drying out the soil inside, and to prevent degradation, cracking etc. over a few years of use. All the sealers I've used in the past either leave a glossy finish -- which dulls down with time, it's true -- or really darken the color of the clay, or don't last long. Since these costly new pots had a very attractive creamy-clay color, I wanted to avoid changing it. Aquamix soaks in, barely changes the color if you apply carefully, and even 2 coats do not make a glossy finish - in fact, after 24 hours it looked like I hadn't even sealed it, but when I sprayed water on it, the sealer was working! Took about half to 2/3 quart to do two huge pots, two coats inside, one outside. Unlike other sealers I've used, this is not milky but clear, and the consistency of plain water. That means it is easy to drip and splash, and you do want to apply it smoothly and evenly to avoid leaving uneven spots. I suggest you practice on the inside of the pot where it won't show - I found a decent quality paint brush applying long strokes bottom to top was effective, but a sponge might work. Second coat I went across. I had to mark where I started, because it's nearly invisible once it soaks in, and you want to let it dry before doing a second coat.

Excellent product and easy to use
This product is excellent, it works really well and goes on easily and quickly. I have terra cotta pot that I wanted to make into a water fountain for my back yard. i wanted a good waterproofer to do this job and Aquamix worked perfectly. within two hours it was dry to the touch, and water was beading off the pot. I did a second coat to be safe, but i am not sure it needed it. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a solid waterproofer. Also the product was shipped to me very quickly and wrapped well so I had no issues with the product or the provider.

Aquamix cleaner and sealer
it is really hard to rinse, but after mutliple rinsings it exceeds my expectations. I am talking about the cleaner then the sealer. Now two weeks later my floor shines, water and drips bead up and it looks clean even when I know it needs a mopping.

Works as expected - no sheen whatsoever.
Easy to use - get a quality spray bottle. Coating dries within 15-25 minutes.

not for all tile types
done a good job on my counter tiles and island, but i have rough tile on the floor and it is not so good for that

Great for use on pool tile
I live in the northeast, so the weather and temperatures fluctuate a lot, which makes choosing materials for any outdoor structure like an unground pool pretty difficult. Over the winter, some of the tiles (now about 28 years old at this point) fell off and I re-set them with cement. I grabbed this Aquamix sealer for use after my grout work and it finished things off nicely. Very clean finish, and VERY inexpensive compared to anything at a hardware store ($75+).

Misleading photo
It may be a great product, but the picture shows wrong size! It's misleading. The whole listing only states "Quart" in the title, but the pictures shows "one gallon", "128 ounces" and so on. There are more more indicators of wrong size than there are of the correct size. In fact, I was surprised to see a small canister, while expecting a sizeable 1 gallon item. I'm yet to discover the quality, but one star rating is for the seller to get their act together and post the correct picture. I'm sure there are hundreds on the Internet and manufacturer's web page. Misadvertisement receives one star.

Excellent
If you want a quality sealer at a good price go with this. It applies just like it says, dries just like it says and it buffs off and seals just like it says. Much fairer price than at the big boxes. A good buy!
