Having recently upgraded my home security with the 3 Star Anti-Snap Platinum Euro Cylinder lock, I am thoroughly impressed with its performance and security features. This lock is approved to the high security British Standard TS007:2014 and also carries the Police Secure by Design accreditation, which gave me a lot of confidence in its ability to protect my home. Great lock. I needed a replacement as my existing cylinder didn't work with the Yale Linus L2 smart-lock as it's thumbturn was not removable and was too thick. I am however removing one star because the thumbturn that came with it is not as pictured. The one I received was as thick, if not thicker, than my old one and would not be compatible with the smart lock if it weren't removable. Thankfully, unlike my previous cylinder, the thumbturn that's provided here is removable, and the Yale Linus L2 comes with a replacement adapter (essentially a thinner thumbturn) that then works with it instead. If this was not the case I would've sent it back. A nice bonus is that the lock itself seems easier to user to turn than our older Brisant lock when manually unlocking with a key.

Took about 5mins to fit, obviously a top grade security lock as long as measured correctly from centre of barrel screw to outside of handles before ordering,have crosshead screwdriver to use it's an easy level DIY job.

Easy to install. Three keys with purchase is great. Seems sturdy. Will keep this in mind if I ever need to change other locks

Worked for a few months and is now broken. Won’t unlock. The thumb turn spins freely and you can lock or unlock from the inside but the key won’t insert from the outside. Broken clutch. How useless.
