Not just for casseroles!
I bought this dish because I liked it, but I wasn't sure if I would use it because of it's size. (A 3-quart casserole dish is a bit much for the two of us). I have re-purposed it to use as a bun warmer, and now use it every time we have muffins, pancakes, rolls, etc. I have an electrical bun warmer that I stick in there to keep things warm; I simply unplug it and bring it to the table when ready. The dish is not insulated, but will still keep things warm for awhile. It would also make a pretty cookie jar. The artwork is stunning and it has nice details. I have yet to use it for casseroles, but am pleased to have it grace my table.

VERY ATTRACTIVE, HUSBAND NOTICED IT SITTING ON COUNTER AND COMMENTED HOW NICE IT WAS AND HE DOESN'T USUALLY NOTICE THINGS LIKE THAT. I HAVE THE LENOX BUTTERFLY MEADOW DISHES AND THIS IS A WONDERFUL ADDITION TO MY SET. PRICE WAS GREAT. MALL STORE WANTED 100.00. USED IT TO SERVE MY MASHED POTATOES ON THANKSGIVING, VERY HAPPY WITH THIS.

Good quality, pretty, a bit smaller then I expected
This casserole is very pretty. It has two different pictures on its 2 side (the photo is just showing one of them). It's very detailed and pretty. However, it's smaller than what I expected so be sure to check the size because you buy it. The cover is also very detailed and pretty. Made in Indonesia. I recommend it.

This piece is absolutely GORGEOUS the detailing on the lid and handles are superb it is however a bit smaller than I was expecting. Also a bit pricey but if you want nice things you have to pay for them.
