ASA Electronics ACM135 Advent Air 13,500 BTU Roof Top AC, White

Bought one these back in April to keep my trailer and myself cool while we do Farmer Markets in the Arizona heat of summer. Even on those 115+ days it kept my trailer nice a cool. It is powered off of my 3500watt generator and ran all summer without a hitch, and when I say all summer I mean all summer! I turned it on in May and turned it off in October. Only time it was not running during that time frame was when I was towing the trailer from point A to point B. Highly recommend this unit it has been flawless for me.

Some four years ago, we replaced a Dometic that lasted only three years with an Advent 15K. It has run smoothly, produces more cold air, and is quieter. So, when it can time to replace the bedroom 13.5K, we went with the Advent and it is working well. Except for the challenge of getting them on the roof, installation is very easy. Knock-off

This is an upper unit exact replacement for older Dometic units. It is plug-and-play with the lower control box. Just get it in place, plug in the plastic plug and the ice detector wire and it is connected. The four hold down bolts from below fit perfectly. Easy do-it yourself; but you need some help getting it on top of the RV.

What is on top of the roof is the ONLY thing that is included. There is no ceiling assembly with controls at all. No instruction manual or wiring diagram (nor can I find one online). No mounting bracket to attach it. No divider to separate air going in and out. I removed the white cover to look for said items and had a hard time putting it back on due to it being crushed and bowed out. The box it came in and plastic cover showed zero damage so it may have came from factory like that. After hiring a HVAC guy to re-wire to use same plug as previous unit I learned that the motor is bad. He also failed to find wiring diagram online but were able to match colors. People in videos should mention the lack of ceiling assembly. Especially the one showing them installing. U could tell he used a switch other than found on a control board but he never mentioned it.

The mounting screws were not long enough. Unit does cool very well good choice for the price.

So far so good. Was recommended by rv repair person..I have a 26ft Cherokee. Cools the whole camper down.

Easy replacement, bought the travel trailer used and it had the same unit so it took longer to get the unit on top of the roof. Everything else was a plug and play. It was a simple install works great. It has a 2 yr warranty so I'm good.

This worked great while we had the trailer.
