It works great. Very easy to clean up and store away. I would recommend this one . We have tried different recipes in it.

I had all trays filled and set the temp at 158 , the highest it will go, it was done in 4 hrs. I never used a Dehydrator before but I'm sold on this one , happy and well ,satisfied..

So, intruction manual on this really sucks. It's very disjointed and useless, really. I give it 4 stars because the digital temperature gauge is literally preset to certain temperatures, the button to set time and temp is the same one, and there isn't a start button. As soon as you turn it on, it starts. I didn't realize these things or I would have went with another model. I will give it more time as I've only used it once, to dehydrate strawberries, and it did work really well. Time will tell more about durability, speed, and ease of use.

Fire hazard. I ordered this dehumidifier on 9/23/2023 and it was delivered a couple days later, so this machine is about two days and one week old. It has operated decently in that time, though it is extremely hard to clean. However, the heating element caught fire this morning. We were about to walk out the door for the day when we noticed a burning smell, turned around and saw first smoke, and then full flames. Luckily, my husband was able to put it out before the cabinet it was near caught fire. So, yeah, I do not recommend this product if you like having a home to come home to after work, rather than a pile of charred ruble.

My daughter loves home made jerky! So far all I've made in it is jerky! I hope to soon hydrate some potatoes and carrots, and much more. Very easy to use and clean. I put the trays in my dishwasher and wipe everything else down. Make sure you keep instruction book and read it. There were also some recipes in it.

It doesn't take long for it to stop working. Bought in October and making weird noises already.

Bought Aug 2022...used it alot until Nov 2022. Then used it a bit during winter. Used it yesterday...fan didn't start and heat melted it. So $153.00 is too much for short period of time it lasted.
