Buy this one if your station has a 3 channel selector switch on it. Keep the box- 1 year warranty
Works great, just like the one that came with my weather station. They make 3 different models of the sending unit. basically, one model has only temperature. This one has temperature and humidty. And it has 3 seperate channels to choose from. There is a cheaper new model station and they don't say the model number of the sending unit on that one. The reason is that one only has one channel, and I suspect it won't work if your station has a 3 channel switch. So if you need 3 channels, this is the correct one. It is a bummer that the weather eventually makes these go bad, even after hanging under the eave of the roof. It does have a one year warranty as stated on the instruction manual. Good to know since they eventually fail. I wrotye the purchase date on the box to remeber this. This DOES work with the lower voltage of rechargeable batteries. It is a good product, worth replacing as the complete weather stations are getting more spendy. I tried the "Bay" and the sellers want like $25 for these unless they are used (not recommended) so this is the best price out there. Currently 48 degrees F out there at 78 percent humidity, right here in "river city" That's about it.

Excellent, inexpensive tool for monitoring temp and humidity in crawlspace, attic....
To reduce expenses and to help protect the environment, in early 2021 our household started taking a number of measures to cut our energy consumption. Those measures have proven successful: total 2021 electricity consumption in our single-family, detached home in the US SE was about 8,000 kWh (3,200 of which was for HVAC), compared to about 11,000 kWh annual average in previous years. [UPDATE on 1/1/23: our total electricity consumption in 2022 dropped even further to just 5,500 kWh (1,600 of which was for HVAC) for the year. We have HALVED our electricity consumption. Huge savings. This sensor continues to operate beautifully.] Our HVAC system screen shows us how much energy it uses daily/monthly/annually. It’s a useful monitoring tool. We use three other tools to help us understand our energy usage and provide us insights into steps we could take to save: a plug-in electricity usage monitor and a thermal imager (both discussed below), as well as our AcuRite weather station with two of these add-on sensors. Our AcuRite set-up allows us to monitor temperature and humidity in four places at once: outside, in our living room, in our crawlspace, and in our unfinished attic. Those four readings cycle on the AcuRite screen every couple of seconds, quickly giving us a full overview of things. Thanks to these readings, we have established a smarter, more energy-efficient way of ventilating our crawlspace and keeping humidity low in there. The readings also helped us see that our attic needed additional ventilation in the roof, prompting us to purchase and install a 4 Seasons Solar Powered Polycarbonate Vent, Weatherproof Design, Quietly Cools Up to 500 Sq Ft, 400 CFM: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DMSCPJA Here are some other products we purchased at Amazon that we can recommend to those interested in cutting home energy consumption: Kuman KW47-US Electricity Usage Monitor Plug Power Watt Voltage Amps Meter with Digital LCD www.amazon.com/Electricity-Monitor-Voltage-Overload-Protection/dp/B07DPJ3RGB Looking back, we can say that purchasing a Usage Monitor Plug has been one of our wisest and most useful moves, and a very inexpensive one at that. Outdoor sensor fails
I have had the main unit for 5+ years and I have been through 2 outdoor sensors and just purchased another. The last one lasted about 2 1/2 years. I'd consider a different system, but since I have the main unit, I'm going to try another sensor. Other than that, unit performs as expected and seems accurate.

Extremely Pleased
Exactly what I needed to replace the old one, that no longer worked. It connected right to the base unit with the temp. All that was needed was to put the batteries in, so easy to get working. Temp showing on base is accurate. As long as your numbers on the back are the same you will be pleased. It was securely packaged to protect during shipping.

Who Knew You Could Just Replace the Sensor
Our Sensor had stopped working so I took a chance and ordered a replacement rather than spending twice as much for a new house thermometer. It worked perfectly once reset to the house unit. Just make certain you check the model number on the unit you have a order a matching sensor for that model. It looks durable and is a small size. Just remember to reset the inside unit so it can detect the new senor. I can't tell you how it works exactly, only that I got lucky and kept pushing buttons to reset the info and it connected eventually. I'm a button pusher and don't give up easily.
