Rislone 4447 High Mileage Compression Repair with Ring Seal, 16.9 oz.

I have a 1989 boat. The engine is the Mercruiser 4-cylinder Alpha One. The engines were actually made by General Motors. They were used in Chevys, and they adapted them for marine use by putting their own intake manifolds and exhaust manifolds on them. I would note that marine engines have a hard life. They are frequently run wide open at 4,000 RPMs for long periods of time, causing more wear than the same engine in a car would experience. So, my engine was 34 years old and very tired. Starting was unreliable. It would crank and crank until it would catch, and then I had to keep the rpms at about 3,000 for a while or it would die. You could tell one cylinder was not firing- maybe two because of the lumpy running and engine shaking. Idling was out of the question for at least 5 minutes. If other people were at the boat ramp I felt embarrassed because of all the blue smoke my boat made. I decided to add one container of this product to my oil to see what would happen. The first four times I started the engine, there was no change. About the fifth time, I noticed it was running more smoothly. Then, after about a month, I accidentally started the engine without giving it any throttle- I just turned the key. It started right away (miracle #1) AND idled smoothly at 700RPM (miracle #2). I could not believe it! I turned it off and started it again, and the same thing happened. Since then, it has done this every time. No blue smoke, no engine shaking, engine starts immediately and idles smoothly. That's my story. I don't know what they put into this product, but whatever it is it actually works. It restored my balky, high-mileage engine so it now starts and purrs like a baby. I would highly recommend this product, and that's an understatement.

Works well to boost compression and power output

Give this a try before replacing piston rings. I have an old and tired Tecumseh flathead that ran okay for its age but smoked a lot and blew oil out the breather tube. I used the Rislone as directed and it made a huge improvement. Don’t expect immediate results, as piston rings can take some time to come back around. Engine still smokes a bit under load, but consumes oil far less and runs well. I’ll have to do a rebuild eventually, but I rely on my machines and can’t afford that much down time. Highly recommend!

Bought a can for my okd Subaru Forester when it developed compression issues. Although it didn't cure the issue, it did help noticeably. I couldn't have aAdked any more of it for the price.

2007 H3 Hummer 186,000 miles These 2 products (Look at uploaded picture) ACTUALLY WORKED. It was at 309 miles exactly of driving after a fresh oil change + these 2 oil additives-the check engine light went off and stayed off. Aggressive HEAVY IDLING - Blue Smoke blowing out exhaust on start - - a mechanic said I blew a head gasket and that was going to cost $7000 to replace it or $12,000 for a new engine. I Changed 8 sensors - changed spark plugs and engine coils, check engine light was still on, I changed all the fuses. I cleaned the throttlebody, I made everything sure all was airtight sealed. I got some type of spray cleaner and sprayed it into the main PCV hose (90degree angle one). Nothing F’ing worked Now after the additives…. My car almost runs like brand new and purrrrrrrs like a cat, I get better gas mileage, there’s no more heavy, rumbling or shaking. I’ll be adding these two additives every oil change.

Put this in a zero turn lawnmower engine that was using about a pint of oil each cut (5 acres) and smoking. After replacing the oil that had burned out from smoking with this high mileage compression repair we have not had to add oil to crank case. Value and quality of the product is excellent, saved a trip to repair shop . Would recommend and will repurchase again if needed.Update on previous review it has now been several months since adding this to the zero turn mower crankcase and still haven’t had to add any oil and no visible smoking!! Would definitely recommend.

i ordered the product first time it was delivered, and it was great. but when i place an order for second time i didn't receive it, but thanks to the Amazon customer care that step into the issue and the seller refunded me back my money, despite all that i recommend the seller and the product and hopefully i will reorder the product again if need be

Purchased this in desperation as my motorbike had lost compression in one of its cylinders so it was this stuff or bike sold as spares and repairs . Used 3/4 of the bottle and the bike is running like new..... can't fault it!!!!
