Don't forget your firmware!
The pen at first was just okay and I was afraid I was going to get something similar to some of the lower reviews I've seen. But after making sure all of the device firmware was up to date on the Dell Latitude as well as the separate Active Pen firmware from Dell's support site, I noticed I had more control and able to get different stroke intensity by pen pressure on the screen as I thought I should in various drawing apps I had installed to test. It works pretty well, would recommend for people who want to draw to get one of those glove covers for your hand that rests on the screen as I will sometimes get some whacky things happen when drawing. Otherwise, the pen itself feels nice and is magnetic where it will stay on the side of the latitude. It was a bit of a weaker magnet, so if you're a little rough with handling the laptop and pen or throw them into a bag, expect that it might slide off the laptop if you're not careful. I'd recommend it if you're looking for an Active Pen with your Dell device.

Does the job
I am giving this 5 stars because I can't think of another Pen on the market that is better than this, even though this is imperfect. It works as advertised. It takes a "regular" battery (not rechargable), but you can supposedly get a very long life out of it before needing to switch. The controls are pretty straight forward. It's basic functionality will work on almost anything, but the advanced functionality (tilt) will only work with programs that support it, and support is not common. It works in ArtRage and Leonardo though (works really well with Leonardo actually). I have heard it works partially in photoshop. Make sure you research your favorite art app before buying this to make sure it will work with it. The pressure sensitivity and tilt functions will only work with ACTIVE displays...so just having a touchscreen is not enough. Though I believe basic functionality still works with regular touchscreens. Make sure your device supports Active Display before buying this. It's comfortable to hold, and pretty intuitive to use. I have seen a lot of people complaining that finding replacement nibs for it is difficult (I have no idea why...but I have been told you can buy them directly from Dell if you call).

Issa NO from me.
This pen would not connect to my computer. Even with help from IT.

Could be improved
This pen works as intended. The only things that would make it better are an eraser mode at the top of the cylinder and for it to be rechargeable, so I didn't have to buy rechargeable batteries for it.

Works well with a Dell XPS 15 2in1 9575
I got this pen to go with my Dell XPS 15 2in1 9575 and it works great. I use this for photo editing and design work (in Photoshop, Lightroom and Microsoft Publisher mainly, though I also use it for editing web layouts) and it helps a lot. Sometimes on a laptop trying to use the touch pad can be a bit tricky, and this pen allows perfect control over your selections. There are also several different functions/settings for the buttons, which are super useful. I wasn't sure how I would like the tether that comes in this pack, as it didn't seem like you would be able to use to pen very well while it tethered, but so far the tether has not really gotten in the way of my hand motions. Obviously you can keep the pen tethered only when you are transporting your laptop, but if you take it back and forth to work daily you can also just leave it on without it getting in the way too much. I had to check a couple different places to make sure this pen was compatible, but if your laptop is and you do creative work, I would definitely recommend getting this pen.

Excellent function; skin peels off
Five stars as far as accuracy, function, and other technical aspect go. It may be a generic stylus (don't want to mention the name) or pen with a vinyl/plastic wrap. The wrap peels off like a snake or an anthropoid changes skin. I do not know if a new wrap will start growing, but our son and I have been patiently waiting to look for new black wrap growth. Nothing so far. Will I buy again? Good question as this was the pen with best reviews. I averages the 3 ratings (5+1+4 = 10) and divided by 3 to get to my overall rating. I think Dell should stop faking the identity of the generic pen with a wrap. I suggest they inscribe "Dell" on it instead of the silly wrap. Not sure if I recommend it - it functions well, so its a good product. But we didn't enjoy the peeling process that happened over a long agonizing period of several months. May be you should peel it off right away and be done with it.
