Pretty straightforward. I am closet rod that can be cut to length. I used a hack saw and it was a breeze to customize. Affordable and sturdy.

I have this in a 48" wide wardrobe that is stuffed with hanging clothes. This rod may bend a tiny bit, but it works. The wooden rod that came with the wardrobe could not support the clothes. It would bend enough to fall off the supports.

We tried to purchase this style of rod locally and no one carried it. We were hoping it was heavy duty enough and it is. We are using it in our laundry room to hang garments that we don't put into the dryer. It is out in the open so it is more attractive than a round wooden or metal closet rod.

These rods are high quality. If you want your closet to look professionally made, use them. You will need the ready made wood panels with holes drilled along the sides. They are easily found at big box hardware stores. Snap in the cleat, put on the rod, and you are finished. The rods can be sawed to your specifications.

Delivery took a week or so, but worth the wait.

The closet rod was packed, shipped and delivered w/o incident. It is an excellent upgrade for the thin tubes used in most closet systems.

The rods works fine, but it was only 47" long. Good thing I only needed 46".
