Q: If the rear window camera is fitted to a hatchback style rear door, how is the cable routed? should i put a loop into it at the crossing point?

I fitted mine to a hatchback-type rear, but I cheated and had a pro hardwire it in, along with the front-facing dashcam (Nextbase 422). The only lesson I can give is, beware if you have a DAB radio. The rear camera interfered with my DAB signal, to the extent that I had no DAB signal. I took it back to the auto-electician, who explained that the DAB aerial is built into the rear window, similar to the rear-window heating elements. The rear dashcam was obviously affecting the DAB aerial. He fitted some kind of suppressor (no charge) on the dashcam cable and that sorted it.

Q: does this come as standard with cigarette lighter to power it? Also, does the main hardwire kit from nextbase work with this camera?

It's powered from the main/front Nextbase camera, just plugs in with a USB connector so doesn't need any extra wiring to power it.

Q: Picture shows a short cable attached to it but you mention a 6m cable to attach it to the front cam. Does it come with this 6m cable?

Only problem is loosing the whole 6.5m length of cable in the roof lining as it's really long even in my 3 month old Seat Leon FR, I managed to loose mine at the front around the drivers sun visor area.
