After 3 months of use
Picture shows how the filter looks after 3 months (running practically 24/7). I'm so impressed! It really is catching a lot of dust! I don't have any solid proof if I really have less mold particles in my air, but there is certainty proof it's catching the dust. I just got this filter because my college apartment has some mold issues. I use this filter in a small bedroom that also has a bathroom connected. I have indeed had less headaches since getting this, but I'm still not sure if that's a coincidence or not because headaches never were a huge problem for me, just something infrequent - but they still happen less now. I saw people complaining about the light, and it's true it doesn't go completely off, but there are 2 settings. Personally I like how dim it gets but if it's still a problem for you, you could always hide it under a chair or something so the light wont go across the whole room while still leaving room for air to come out on top. The dimmest setting has never disturbed my sleep though. It's a very nice nightlight actually - beautiful blue shade, so this is like a 2-in-1 for me! It's extremely quiet, I can only hear it if everything else in my room is turned off, and even then it's still quieter than the AC. Still, when I hold my hand over the outgoing air, it's more/faster than I expected from this little guy. This thing is a tiny little beast and I hope to use it for many more years. Buy it! You just plug it in and it's ready to go!

Company does make good on warranty - Unit working well after 2 years of 24/7 use
5-2-2023 New update Unbelievable but it is still working great. I run this filter 24/7 and have since I purchased it. Nothing else needs to be said - Upgrading to 5 stars. Love it and highly recommend it now. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update 7-5-2021 The company is shipping a new unit to replace the broken one. I was offered my money back or a new Air purifier. Since I really did like the Air purifier, when it worked, I am giving it one more try and getting a new one. =============================================================================== I liked it until I realized there was no filter. I contacted the Company thru Amazon and finally after arguing with them received a filter. Then the darn Machine stopped working and Amazon says to contact the company but offers no way to do so. It is less than 45 days since I ordered this POS and I am out the money I paid. I do not trust the company, the manufacturer, or Amazon for help. I am willing to bet Amazon refuses to publish this review.

Works well, but some things to note
This air purifier is small, quiet, and seems to do a good job (the impact isn't hugely noticeable, but I'm not sure it would be with any system, as we're focused on allergens vs. odors). A couple things to note, though: 1) It comes with a USB cable but no plug, so you need to have an available plug or place to connect it (and it's not entirely obvious what wattage it requires - I'm using a 2W plug, which seems to work). Given how cheap usb chargers are these days, it seems odd to me that they wouldn't include the plug. 2) When it says the night light can be dimmed, that's what it means. Not turned off, but reduced. If you're looking to put this in a bedroom for use at night, be prepared to have a blue LED on all night. And it can't be covered, as it's inside of the vent, so covering it would block the airflow. Besides those caveats, it seems like a nice product at a good price.

Great value!
I've been running this for a week. I will definitely be updating in a few months to see if filter turns dirty as its supposed to but so far I can comment on what I like about it. It is quiet. At first, when you turn it on, you do hear a fan noise but after awhile I didn't hear it at all. It's small so you can place it anywhere without taking up to much space.. I used to have a fairly large filter that sat on my floor, so I am happy about the size. I hope it's working .. it's winter here & really cold so I haven't been opening the windows to air out the house as much as I would like. Trusting this to help clean the air. Instructions were easy to follow too

It just doesn't work very well, and I'm using it in an enclosed shower
Technically it works, but practically it does almost nothing. I got it to clean the air in an enclosed shower where the cat box lives, and apparently this 9 sq/ft area is a struggle for it. Looks cool, low noise, nice blue nightlight...but the main feature is lacking. Off it goes to Goodwill.

Placed next to the bed
Placed this next to my bed for a week and then placed it farther away. After having a very stuffy night sleep I put it next to to my bed again. Definitely noticed a difference. This air purifier is only for small rooms. Works great for those who have allergy problems while they sleep. The blue light and noise doesn't bother me because it's so soft. But if you're really sensitive to noise or light, it might bother some. Update: 7 months later Still works but with an annoying quirk. If it drops or you pick it up and move it to a different location it automatically turns off. The USB cord connecting to the unit - If it's loose it turns off. This is definitely only for very small areas. I have it in a micro apartment next to my bed. I would say that it covers half the space of a micro apartment. Good for desks and bed tables.

My bedroom has carpet. I've been thinking about getting an air purifier to help clarify the air during night time for a long time. But I was afraid the noise coming from the air purifier would be too loud which will make it harder for me to sleep. However, this one is amazing! When it turns on, it gives a soft blue light on the top and makes the type of nature sounds for sleep and relaxation. I found it worked quite well for my sleeping. Actually I sleep better now and I'll turn it on every night before I'm going to bed. I feel I have cleaner air through my night. Absolutely love it!

It can be difficult to test if it's working properly because you can't see the bacteria in the air. However, in my limited non-scientific usage, I can tell it's doing it's job. Sometimes I eat dinner in my bedroom and the food may contain a strong smell (ie fish, chicken). When I don't turn it on, the smell of the food can linger in my room for hours. However, when I turn this on, the smell goes away within minutes. So at the very least, I know it's purifying the smell. Since COVID-19, I purchased 2 of these units. One for my parents and one for myself. We place these units either in the bedrooms or areas with high foot traffic around the house, like the hallway. I think it's generally helped with the air and at the very least provided everyone a bit of peace of mind. Perhaps it can be a placebo, but unless you have scientific apparatus, it'll be difficult to test how efficient it's cleaning the air. So I'll cautiously use the word "cleaning". This is NOT a replacement to stop wearing masks in crowded homes. In terms of user-experience, it's one of the easiest electronics you'll ever use. Push the button once on the top to have it clean the air indefinitely. A blue light turns on. Push again to set timer for 8 hours and the blue light will dim. The hum is noticeable, so for light sleepers, you probably won't enjoy having this unit on while you sleep. The construction is all plastic and I suspect accidentally dropping it on the floor will break the unit. Finally, the instructions do advise to change the filter after heavy use. A USB cable is included, but the power adaptor is not.

It’s not easy with this one cause it’s not obvious whether it’s doing something. I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks now, in a large room, by my bed. Number one thing it’s not silent. It produces quite a hum, almost like a fan. The noise level does not change with the sleep mode, only the light brightness. I wish the auto shut off period was shorter than 8 hours, but I’m kinda used to the noise, or at least it doesn’t bother me personally, but I’d imagine if you like it very quiet when you sleep you won’t be able to leave it on at night in any proximity to your bed. Same if you’re sensitive to lights. Though I find it barely visible especially at sleep mode and it’s barely like a night stand light, directed upwards which makes it almost invisible really. Now to its functionality, I believe it’s working great! As winter came and the air got dryer I’ve began to struggle with a lot of static, to the point of great discomfort. In fact that was my primary reason for purchasing this unit. I have to admit, the static is practically gone, although I don’t use humidifier the air feels significantly less dry. It doesn’t make dust disappear, but I can’t see it floating in the air as much anymore. There’s less of it, and it all just drops down. Most importantly I breath so much better going to sleep and waking up I don’t have any more dry throat problems like I used to. These are very subjective measures but I truly believe, this thing makes a difference. I’m planning on purchasing another one or two for my whole apartment. It’s reasonably priced, has filter replacements available on Amazon, and the filter itself lasts 6 month, which is great! Lastly, very important to notice that this doesn’t do magic on eliminating any strong odors. It won’t help you if there’s smoking, cooking or others. At best it helps to disperse of the smell faster, after cooking for example, but definitely won’t work for a smoking house. So if this is your primary concern, I’d suggest looking into other things. Other than that, it really does purify and neutralize the air, the negative ions however invisible are there! I highly recommend for that purpose! Absolutely noticeable and significant differences in the quality of my breathing during sleep!!!

Okay for really small spaces.

So I've had this thing going nonstop since I got it a week ago, and there's been no noticeable change in the air quality - or smell - of the small 100 or so sqft room I have it in. It's simple to small and not powerful enough to make a difference. The unit itself comes with no manual, not that you need one as it has a single button that either turns the unit on or off, that's it. In order for the unit to be effective it'd need a much more powerful motor in order to draw in more air as currently, you can barely feel it even with your nose pressed up against it. It's extremely disappointing since the reviews had painted this product to be a wonder for its price tag. The only wonder is how so many people bought it and were satisfied. For comparison, I purchased a larger unit and there has been a noticeable change in the air quality. Though still not as much as I'd like so I will likely return that one as well for an even larger one. Which is very silly since both units should have no issue with such a small room yet both struggle to be effective.
