Excellent Keyboard
For the price, this keyboard is amazing. It's one of the best I have used regardless of price, and I've used quite a few including three mechanical keyboards and several other membrane keyboards. The typing experience is pleasant. It does not seem to miss any keys, it requires very little force to actuate, and it is very quiet most of the time. The backlight is nice. I suppose I wish the backlight were blue instead of rainbow color, but you can't have everything. It's surprisingly hard to find a TKL membrane keyboard with a blue backlight. There are no lighting options apart from letting the light change brightness and do a fade in effect (you can't alter the color scheme from rainbow). However, for the price this keyboard is amazing. I prefer it to keyboards I own that are normally sold for five times the price or more. It has a great array of buttons. The TKL style layout without the number pad gives lots of mouse room and lets you center the keyboard with the monitor so you aren't reaching to your left to do your typing. It's nice. The available keys are great (I have one TKL keyboard without volume keys and you really miss that, but this keyboard has them). Occasionally, I find a key that squeaks a little if you press it at the wrong angle, which is the only significant failing. If the keyboard were more expensive I would take off a star for the occasional faint squeak of the spacebar. I haven't had it long, so I can't really rate it for durability.

only rubber dome tkl on the market
I really enjoy this keyboard, it does exactly what I needed it to, nothing more or less. However, this was all clearly advertised and for the price, my expectations were fairly low. Due to that, I would freely say this keyboard has exceeded my expectations per cost. I have been using a Microsoft Digital Media 3000 Keyboard for the last 15 years. Obviously, I was rather fond of it, but they are becoming very expensive and hard to find, and I was in the market to move to TKL board so I would have fewer mouse on keyboard collisions. Before finding this I went to Microcenter and tried just about every switch there is on the market. There were plenty of good feeling switches, but all of those were loud enough to drive my fiance insane. The Microsoft keyboard I had was a rubber dome / membrane-type board and this quickly turned out to be what I needed. I knew it would suit the tactile feeling I was seeking and not be too loud. Queue the RK104: Turns out there are literally NO companies that make a rubber dome TKL board except Rii (that I could find). The good news is if this what you're looking for then you have found it and it's not a bad option especially considering the cost. I have only given it a 4 out of 5 because the enter key and backspace key do not have stabilizers. They are just a bit too wide for this and result in the key feeling sticky if not hitting it dead in the center. The spacebar also squeaked on every press out of the box. This was no big deal though I threw a little Teflon lube on it and it's been all good.

Beautiful display at a great price
I was looking for a keyboard that was colorful but without the number pad so I can center the keyboard on my keyboard tray. I found both of these features in this keyboard at a fantastic price! The colors are really so beautiful and help me see the keys. With my old keyboard, I needed a mini lamp to see the keys if the room was dim. The keyboard lights don't require me to program anything. The lights just come on as soon as I awaken the computer. The lights stay on until the computer goes back to sleep. Once, I accidentally hit a key sequence that made the lights go out! But all I had to do was unplug the keyboard and plug it back in. The keys are very nice to type with. The first day or two, I had to adjust to the slight difference from my old keyboard but it was easy. Note: I am not a gamer but this keyboard suits me just fine.

Great product for a fantastic price.
I love the compact size. Everything feels solid. The keys are more quiet than my previous keyboard. The colors are more than sufficiently bright. For those asking, it does not oscillate. The is only one setting for the color. The single button just to the left side of the right CTRL key is super convenient. I haven't had a chance to try out the Function options, so I can't comment on those. However, if you don't need the number pad, or you need the space more, I completely recommend this keyboard.

Just buy it
I admit I'm a keyboard snob. I don't care about brand as long as it works for me. I like quiet, light touch,10 keyless (87 key) and backlite. Some years ago my favorite gave up the ghost and even though I've found some, I couldn't find one I was really happy with. Closest was a red switch mechanical, but even that one was louder than I like. I think I've gotten a dozen from Amazon, only to send them back within days. WOW! I received one I REALLY LIKE. FINALLY!! Fits all my needs, nice key feel, QUIET and only $12. WTH!!! Some I've tried were upwards of $70 only to be sent back in a day or two. This one is a keeper, and at $12, hell yes!! Only complaint is no flip out feet, but I'll glue a little plastic to get the angle I want.

This isn't worth more than $5. It's cheap, not solid, very wobbly, doesn't grip the desk (slides everywhere), you can't tilt it (ez wrist pain)
