Rinse sponge frequently.
This works. Take your time. Use sponge side to get damp. Rough side for thicker areas that need leveling. Finish with sponge side. No dust. Easy peasy.

That'll do, sponge. That'll do.
This sponge did what I expected from a sponge. It absorbs liquid and then the liquid is transferred to an object when you rub the sponge on it. That's really all there is to it. My sponge did not have bugs living in it. It did not cause unholy magic when I rubbed it on the wall. It did not bring misfortune to my family. It did what it should.
