This rack securely holds 12 Libbey 4-1/2-Ounce Spice Jars with Lids (ASIN: B000HDMKJY). There is a lip around the front and back of the shelves that keeps the jars from falling off the rack. There are two places where the Libby 4-1/2 Ounce jar has a good chance of falling off the rack and that is on the ends of the bottom shelf. The rectangular holes in the side walls are large enough that the jars can fit through. I am not too worried about the jars falling off though, and if you plan on using different spice jars this might not even be an issue.The rack is made from strong chromed steel and is relatively heavy. I am pleased that it is not made of a flimsy metal. That said, the welds are a bit crude and it arrived bent in a few places. It rocks front to back and one of the walls is not perpendicular to the base. I am not certain if it was bent in shipping or if it was manufactured this way, but I have a feeling it was manufactured this way as the package showed no signs of damage.I really like the appearance of the rack and the wired chromed steel matches my Seville Classic storage racks (ASIN: B001E99QK6) and Seville Classic wheeled work table (ASIN: B001TMEX7E)

I'm always leary or ordering anything metal for storage without first seeing it in person as a lot of metal is so thin it usually isn't worth the price and gets ruined quickly. This spice rack is very well made, thick metal and it has 4 rubber "feet" to prevent movement.I REALLY like that it is tiered so I can see all of my spices and not have to dig around to find them. This rack will be around fr a long time.I like the size as far as it fitting in my cabinet, but I bought some really nice spice jars to fit this rack and not all of them fit <9 out of 12>, even though the measurements described said they should have fit. It's not a deal breaker as I have other spice jars that I can put on it with the others and not take away from the look I want.The only thing I would want to make me really happy is this same rack but a few inches longer to accomodate the jars I have.

I would give this a 5-star review, but the entire item is slightly bent (not square). Since the gauge of the metal is so thick, I cannot bend it back into shape. It was probably fabricated in this way, and not caught in quality control. I will keep the item, because shipping it back would be inconvenient and costly.I completely agree with the previous reviewer. The 12-pack of Libby-brand spice jars fit perfectly in it. Thanks for the recommendation. I have a small kitchen, and counter space is tight, but the footprint of the rack is small enough for me. Of course, I have to choose which spices I used most and store the remainder in my pantry. I think this rack would also work well in a short cupboard too.

High quality, heavy-duty

Just purchased one of these racks for a semi-DIY spice-storage solution in my pantry and I'm not disappointed! It's quite a solid rack. They way it is constructed even plans for a bit of a lip that prevents spice jars from sliding off. I bought a case (dozen) of 4oz. mason jars to put my spices in for aesthetic continuity and sadly, only 9 of the 12 fit on the shelves of this rack. All in all, still pretty pleased. I'm even more jazzed now that I see I can juuuust fit two more racks onto the bottom shelf of my cupboard so it will be looking very well organized!

Ordered two of these to organize spices. The rack is very sturdy with three shelves. The depth of each shelf is 2.75 inches which is plenty of room for one row of spice bottles. Just an fyi, there is not enough room to have two rows on a single shelf. The height between the shelves is approx. 1 inch. Another half inch would have been better to be able to see the labels of the bottles on all shelves. Still it's better than what I had before which was all bottles stuffed in the cabinet. Overall I am happy with purchase.

This is the best spice rack. Paid more than I'd hoped to, but I'm okay with that fact due to the fine quality of the rack. I'd like to purchase another rack to use on the bathroom vanity to hold sundries. Substantial weight. The shelves are wide enough to hold a can of soup or vegetables. Really happy I invested in purchasing three racks. Many uses.

I bought two of these spice racks, along with two sets of the Libbey Vibe Spice Jars (24 jars total) to help me organize my spice cupboard. I always had a whole bunch of little bulk baggies and then because I couldn't see/find everything easily, I would purchase more of a spice even though I already had some. 12 of the jars fit perfectly on one rack - it is like they were made to go together! I am very pleased with the spice racks themselves - they are very well made, strong and sturdy - a great quality product. I am sure I will purchase more in the future as I figure out different ways to organize with them!
