Our dog, Niko, would like you to know he would do anything for these. Once he hears this crinkly plastic bag of treasured treats being pulled off shelf, the typically unmotivated Niko will quickly show up from wherever he’s currently napping and enthusiastically give kisses or perform whatever command he can possibly understand to get this toothbrush. As a human I cannot accurately describe what the clearly satisfying to our dog Flavor or Irresistible Scent of this product is like, but as far as value for the money…DEFINITELY! We have been giving our 126lb Akita dog 1-2 “toothbrushes” per day since Niko had his big boy teeth. We have not had to pay our vet to clean his teeth 1x in 10 years! Every year our vet cannot believe how clean our dog’s teeth are. Our dog absolutely loves these mutually beneficial treats.

The brown ones and green ones are both loved by my dog, probably the same flavor anyway. Vet says they seem to do a good job keeping teeth clean (this is my second dog using them). The price fluctuates wildly for some reason, as much as $8, so when one of the colors hits a low point I buy them. They are a bit overpriced at their highest, so watch and wait.

We initially started with a larger size of the Nylabone dental treat but Cesar had problems with the medium size and wanted the treat snapped in half. This size seems to be a better fit and the boys coming running as soon as the hear me open the bag.

My dog Sierra has an issue with tartar built and we stick to the routine of one Nutrident every morning ... it had been a year now and I see the improvement, also I brush her teeth not every day but say 4 times a week.I need to clarify that I adopted Sierra ( a Dutch Shepherd) a year ago and she already had that tartar built.I’m pretty sure that when you and your pup start with this “treats” early on age probably you won’t have to deal with tartar built at all cause product really works!!Oh! Sierra loves them and is “our” thing enjoying that good chew every morning!!

I was so pleased when these arrived because they are better than I expected. I got the small size for my Chihuahuas, and they are just the right size for them. They have a brush-like quality and make up, and they smell super good. The ingredients are important to me, and these pass my strict test of "must haves" for safe ingredients. I am very pleased, and will buy these again. The bag holds a lot of chews, if you are worried about the price.

I previously had tried the green Fresh Breath mini's and my dogs liked them; actually ordered the Filet Mignon by mistake but no problem as they loved them too. I like that they have limited ingredients and particularly the mini size that allows for use as a healthy treat. Also pass these out at the animal shelter where I volunteer so need a lot of them !

My dogs started out with the small bones. I like them and am cautious when I give them the small size. They are 10 pound dogs but I am always afraid they will bite a big piece off and then try to swallow it. The small size lasts longer and they have to work at them but I guess that is the point in a dental chew. I am more comfortable with the minis but the small are better for their teeth. Watch your dogs closely so they do not choke.

My pup now has the choice of the green and filet flavor ones for him to brush his teeth after breakfast and dinner. He gets to choose which flavor and he always chooses the opposite each time. They are hard but not so hard that I feel they would be unsafe if he ate them too fast. The cost of the larger boxes are more cost effective since we buy both and he gets 2 a day.
