Amazing Healing Ointment
Amazon Basics Baby Healing Ointment moisturizes while providing an excellent level of skin protection. This ointment goes on smooth and is long-lasting, which makes it a great value. Would highly recommend this amazing ointment.

Very Good Product
I was a bit sceptical of buying this because of the mixed reviews but I'm glad I went ahead and got it. This product is definitely what I was looking for. It is a solid ointment that absorbs really good, it's smooth and not runny, it makes my skin feel soft and not greasy. This is better than I thought and I will definitely purchase again.

Great value!
I purchased this Amazon Basics Healing Ointment 4-pack on sale during the brutal winter season, and this item is as comparable to Aquafor as possible. Not only is the price great and half the price of its competitor, but the I found that the product to be just as good as any other healing ointment out there. I used the product for my dry, cracked hands and chapped lips during the winter months, and the product absorbed quickly into my skin and kept my skin moisturized throughout day. I did leave a 4-star review because I did have to apply the product a few times throughout day as it did not seem to last through multiple hand washes, but other than that I have no complaints.

Great for diaper changes
We like this stuff! A little thinner and easier to spread than the name brand version, which can be good or bad depending on your situation but it seems to be very comparable for a much lower price. We use it mainly for diaper changes.

A lot like the old aquaphor formula
Love this stuff. I've been using aquaphor for my babies since 2019 and sometime around 2020 they changed their formula to a thicker more solid formula that wasn't as easy to spread. I've tried a couple of other brands since then but never liked any as well, and finally decided to try this product this year. This Amazon basics ointment is just like the old pre 2020 aquaphor formula and is silky smooth and easy to spread and keeps my baby's bum rash free. I'll save a LOT of money buying these 4 packs which is only a few dollars more than a single jar of the name brand! Definitely a good value purchase. I wish I had tried this stuff years ago. I do wish there was a smaller tube option available to toss in the diaper bag.

Very thin, might not be the budget-friendly Aquaphor alternative we hoped for
I regularly buy Aquaphor for diapering and one tub costs nearly as much as this 4-pack of Amazon Basics brand. I carefully compared every bit of the ingredients and percentages between the two and bought this hoping it'd be an amazing alternative to a rather expensive product we use several times a day for our kids. Unfortunately, this product is very thin. Even with a diapering spatula, it spreads thin and seems to melt away or absorb into the diaper lining much more than a thick swipe of real Aquaphor does. We're pretty disappointed that this doesn't seem like it will provide the hefty barrier we were hoping for to prevent diaper rash. On the plus side, it's easy to spread since it's so buttery smoothe and it's very moisturizing. It just isn't a great barrier cream.
