5 Star for quality and appearance. Unfortunately though, I made a mistake with my measurements - A word of warning to people trying to use these to fit Kluson tuners, they won't fit! You'll need 0.65 size fittings and not these which are made for different vintage tuners. That was my fault for not reading though and no fault to the product. Overall, very nicely made and if you fit them, you can tell they will last. Price is competitive and they work exactly how they should (if you measured right!). Arrived on time and had no issues with the purchasing.

Nice replacement

I used these on a Squier Sonic Mustang and fits. For those saying it’s wider, yes slightly but you need to use a pressing device to push them through and have them snug. I used a clamp to create the correct pressure.

Unlike another reviewers experience, mine arrived with all 6 bushes as expected. Although advertised as 10mm diameter bushes, they are in fact slightly oversized. Thankfully I have a tapered reamer and it only took a few minutes work to slightly enlarge the holes in my Tele headstock. The internal diameter is in fact around 6.2mm, so check the diameter of your tuner posts carefully begore ordering. Unusually, these bushes were only 7.8mm long, which is a fair bit shorter than the depth of bushes I was replacing, but I considered it worth a try (please see photos for accurate measurements). Once pressed in, the bushes were a nice snug fit and my vintage locking tuners look great on the guitar. Although I will be looking to replace them with some bushes a few mil longer in the near future, these aren't too bad and will certainly be adequate to allow me to do a complete guitar setup accurately. The inside of the bushing opens just fine but the top side is smaller, so a peg will go in, but not through. This is in the case of Gotoh vintage heads. They fit the Fender Player series guitars themselves nicely. Snug, but good. But, if I can't get a very common branded peg through. What's the point?

I like the open back - I like seeing the mechanical workings of the tuners. Fitted them to my Blueridge BR-180, perfect fit and operation.

Boccole indispensabili se volete montare meccaniche vintage su paletta con fori da 10mm. Il diametro esterno é leggermente inferiore al dovuto. Sono riuscito a montarle solo perché ho riverniciato la paletta e lo spessore aggiunto della vernice è bastato allo scopo. Il diametro interno é inferiore al dovuto, probabilmente perché le meccaniche vintage, nel mio caso Kluson Deluxe, hanno misura imperiale. Ho usato una lima tonda e tanta pazienza ottenendo un risultato ovviamente approssimativo. Valutate voi...

These grommets are well made and fit nicely in the head stock. If you are using vintage GOTOH tuners you will have to enlarge the center holes a small amount this is not a hard job. You need screws with bigger heads to tie the tuners together because the spacing is different than vintage instruments. They look very right for any version of a Telecaster type guitar and the tuners themselves hold tune very well. There are other grommets you can get that are supposed to work without modification. If they do or not I do not know.
