This shampoo has a soothing scent and healing effect on dry and damaged hair. It is the most professional shampoo that we can find. There is also a lot in the bottles so we don’t have to worry about it running out for months. It is the preferred shampoo for us at a great price.

I have extremely dry, thin, and brittle hair, so I wanted the argan oil to help me restore some semblance of moisture and balance. The shampoo helps, but it smells awful, at least to me and my husband. The conditioner also helps, and it definitely smells better! Your mileage with these products may vary. My nose still doesn't work properly post-Covid (and it's been 2.5 years). As it turns out, hubby is violently allergic to the shampoo and turned beet red wherever it touched his skin. He did not use the conditioner for obvious reasons. I, who has extremely sensitive skin, had zero reaction to either product. I've been using it once to twice a week now for about three months. The end result has been hair that is infinitely more manageable, shinier, and clearly healthier, a scalp that has decidedly less dry skin itchiness, and no need to wash my hair for FIVE full days after each use, meaning my scalp is finally able to work on repairing itself. I'm thrilled with these results! I'm dealing with the smell for the results I now consistently get, but I sincerely hope they do something to better just that one issue. It's a doozy.

Thick and nourishing I only have one complaint and it's got to do with the way the packaging's labeled if The manufacturer could make it slightly different so it's easier to tell the difference between the two bottles for those of us that can barely see without our glasses it would be appreciated!!!

Okay, this product comes in several fragrances, Coconut, Argan Oil, and Biotin & Collagen. I have purchased all three. The price is great for the amount of shampoo/conditioner product. You will pay much more for this product if you were to buy from CVS, Walgreens, WalMart and other prominent retailers. However, and this is the reason for the three stars, the fragrance is very weak. The Coconut has a faint smell of coconut, the Biotin & Collagen probably of the three has the most fragrance, whereas the Argan Oil has zero fragrance. So if you are buying this product for the fragrance stay clear and purchase from the one of the aforementioned retailers even though you will be paying more. After reading some of the reviews I’m pretty convinced that this product is “one off”. It seems to me that this product from OGX has probably failed their quality assurance protocol and is being offered at a discounted rate and then sold on Amazon. For one the large bottles don’t have the pump top as are offered by the more prominent retailers who sell this product. And the bottle labels appear to be glued on and not embedded onto the bottle. The product itself, shampoo and conditioner, seem to do an okay job. I’ll probably start purchasing this from one of the aforementioned retailers and just pay a little more but get a superior product.
