King of Shaves Sensitive Advanced Shaving Oil With Handy Pump QUAD PACK 1.01 fl oz

I have used this product for years. I am primarily a wet electric shaver, but will let my stubble grow on weekends/holidays and use a blade for a nice "deep clean." Previously I had only used this as the base for my blade shaving- a few pumps applied to my face and then a high-quality shave cream or soap over it. It works great for this purpose, both with cartridge razors and DE safety razors. I have sensitive skin and really have trouble using a DE blade against-the-grain on my neck unless Kinexium is in place. With this oil I can do multi-pass shaves with far reduced friction (and can shave a bit faster since I am less worried about damage). Since the bottle is small, there really are not instructions on it; I recently went to the KoS website and realized that they recommend and offer instructions for both wet electric and dry electric shaving. As wet electric is my main method, I decided to give it a shot. Leaving my face wet and using 2 pumps, I can get a great shave and never get any friction. Even with high-end shave soap (self-lathered in a bowl), I always felt the skin getting a little dry and the shaver head would not pass as easily. With Kinexium that is not a problem and the shaver works great. I experimented and added KoS Alpha Gel on top of the oil and get an even smoother shave. While I have not tried this as a dry electric shave base, I imagine it works just as well. Essentially you just dry your face first (vice leaving damp) and rub it a little longer. The face would then be dry but still have a nice glide to it. Despite being an oil, this rinses easily from my safety razor, cartridge razors, and the electric foils/cutters. It is a thicker oil, so not a baby oil feel- more like a silicone (and the older bottles even used to say "with silicone technology" or something like that). I would recommend this to any shaver!

This has been a whole new experience in shaving for me...and I like it. This blend of natural plant and herbal oils allows my wet/dry electric shaver — with or without water — to glide over my face with no razor burn or irritation. It's been a great find for me. CONTENTS: Grape Seed Oil, Eucalyptus Leaf Oil, Tea Tree Oil, Sunflower Extract, Spearmint Leaf Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Limonene (citrus peel extract), Camphor Bark Oil, Aloe Leaf Extract, and Rosemary Leaf Extract.

I discovered on my second shave with this stuff that it is more effective and more slick if you keep your face wet while shaving. As a result, I got a very close and smooth shave with zero nicks and no skin irritation. I would definitely recommend this shave oil to others.

I get a great shave with this product. No need for shave soap. Just remember to splash additional water on your face during the shave.

I have used these shave oils for years as much more convenient than taking shave cream. They provide a great shave and leave your face moisturized.

The formulation has changed for the 10 years, but it is as good or better than before. I like the fact that it contains almost all natural ingredients and has little or no odor. It works great for an electric shave!

I have been using the King of Shaves products for 15+ years and like them. However they have had persistent stocking and supply issues. I had to move off of their razors and blades because they were never in stock. Now the shave gels and oils are out of stock for months on end. I have had an open order on Amazon for 2+ months unfulfilled. Perhaps they've given up on the US market, but at present they cannot be ordered, so that makes it a low-star product because they can't figure out how to get their product into the hands of their customers.

My husband uses the King of Shaves for more than 15 years and it is and remains the best shaving oil for face! Thanks Amazon for providing it in Belgium!

I was recommended this product by a friend. Having now tried it for 2 weeks, I can say that the shave is much cleaner/smoother than using foam, plus my skin feels so much better after shaving. I was also surprised how few drops of the oil are needed for each shave. Overall, really pleased - an excellent find.

Hace años que uso aceite de afeitar y no está mal. Por mi gusto es un poco espeso y el pelo se pega a las hojas más que con otros aceites. Lo que me preocupa un poco as que las botellas lleguen sin ningún envoltorio... Nada.. solo las botellas

Inoltre, almeno secondo i miei princìpi, mi trovo solidale con la filosofia dell'azienda, che non testa su animali, quindi per me è ok su tutti i fronti. L'unica cosa, ma forse esagero io nell'adoperarlo, non credo si possano ottenere 70 rasature come garantito in legenda, anche perché avendo un'azione emolliente, spesso dopo il passaggio veemente del rasoio, si esige una lubrificazione a più riprese, anche per evitare che la pelle si irriti eccessivamente per il prosieguo della rasatura. Comunque, a parte eventuali discrepanze sulla durata del prodotto, io lo consiglio (mi esprimo per la rasatura elettrica).
