CARPRO CQUARTZ Lite 2.0-100ml Kit

I wanted to try out this product as more of a budget option. I decided to use it on my shop truck and give it a thrashing this summer. I love the higher end car pro coatings and felt like this was going to be great and it was. Easy to apply and remove. I recommend YouTube videos if you’re new to coatings. This was a wipe on and wipe off application. I chose to do 2 coats. Some guys I guess do it after 4 hours I let it sit overnight under the heater vent before coat two. I did my glass, trim and wheels with it. You couldn’t tell this isn’t a high dollar coating. I was amazed. I’m huge on prep so one of the pics with all the reflection is how the paint looked prior to application. I used carpro eraser prior to the coating. I drove the truck around and got it pretty dusty and went home and snagged it to see what happened in the rain. You can see the beads of water in the dirty bead pic grab the dirt and dust and pull it with thr bead as it runs off the truck. The rain cleaned the truck for the most part. I stopped off at the car wash to rinse it today and that’s the video. No soap just water and the truck beaded off dirt better than some of the coatings I see shops doing. Can’t wait to see how this lasts but even if you have to do it every year it’s cheap and well worth it. May wind up doing my crawler... I have plenty left over.

Following instructions to the letter, after a week I saw that dust was sticking to my truck like glue. At first I thought it was coming from trees outside my driveway so after a week I washed it and man it beaded off the water like crazy but when I dried it I noticed spots everywhere all over my truck. Don't know what happened. I noticed also that wiping with microfiber towels was leaving scratches. Brand new towels. Package says it's user friendly but just beware, if your going to use this get professional help. Now I don't even know how I'm going to fix the paint job on my new 2019 truck.

Preparing the paint took most of my time. Worked small sections and it was very easy. Took little over an hour on a Black Honda Accord. Be sure to have good lighting. Definitely left the paint darker and glossy.

Would buy again. Easy to apply and fantastic results. After it cures my car felt super slick

This is very good for vehicles on our lot. The 6 month+ 45% sio2 tio2 durability makes it the perfect match for use at our automotive dealership. Love the way it looks once applied after a paint correction. Goes well with topcoat.
