Thank You Cards - Mountain Sun Note Cards Set of 12 Greeting Cards and Envelopes

I was looking for cards to write thank you notes to my daughter’s camp counselors. The paper they are printed on is a nice weight and pens write nicely on them. Some cheaper cards tend to smudge easily but these are great.The print is nicely done and looks like a set that you might buy at a boutique type store.

Liked the design until I tried to write a thank you note. Ball point pens are very faint on the note card stock so I tried a uni-ball ink pen and it smeared terribly. The ink does not sink into the paper, it gets on your hands instead. I am disappointed in the finish on the card stock. What pen will write on these cards? The envelope was fine. I had no problem writing a nice clear bold address. I have wasted two note cards so far trying to write on them. Update: I forgot that pen won't write on these note cards and wasted another one, plus got ink all over my hands. Again. These are simply not worth the hassle. Ugh!

I should have checked the reviews - these are terrible to write on. Too glossy. Please reprint on appropriate paper for a greeting card! These are too pricey for such an oversight.

I am using this for a thank you for airbnb guests in a mountain area. Very pretty, simple, yet elegant.
