Does its job perfectly.
I picked this up because it was cheaper than a second magazine for a bolt action rifle. I didn’t need to be able to swap mags quickly; I just needed to be able to carry extra rounds easily for a hunt. This was FANTASTIC and fit the bill perfectly. It got filled up with 6.5 grendel, so 7.62 and .308 are going to fit fine. (Same case diameters.) The elastic kept the rounds from slipping all the way in, although even if they had they would have been easy to pull back out. The loop closure is easier to operate than you’d think but does seem to stay closed all the time you need it to. Fully loaded the pouch is a little chunky, but that’s mostly because you’re dealing with two rounds of thickness, plus three layers of pouch. It’s not a bad trade off for the convenience this thing affords. It never slapped around on my belt, nor did anything other than to be consistently useful. No, it didn’t fit or move as precisely as a pouch that was custom built for my caliber, but I had no complaints. I highly recommend it for range or field.

Perfect fit for 410 shotgun and 45 Long Colt Ammunition
After buying one pouch, I bought 2 more. 410 shotgun ammunition fits very well. The image is showing 2 1/2 inch rounds, but as you can see 3-inch rounds would fit very well. In the first roll of the left pouch shows 45 Long Colt bullets. In my opinion, this is a great deal and perfect for my needs.

Great Value, keeps rounds secure
I have an older model of this with Velcro I use for my 30-30 during hunting. It held ammo fine, and my only complaint was it's a bit loud to open the Velcro in the field. This model fixes that issue. It's easy to open, and silent. I'm using it for 45-70 gov't, which is a pretty fat shell. They are snug side by side, but it beats having rounds banging around in your hunting jacket, or carrying the box.
