It does really well at knocking loose stuck screws. In my particular case, some bmw screws from 1995 that had never been loosened from factory. This made SHORT WORK of the job! Literally the first strike I saw movement. Before I bought this tool I had spent at least 3 hours messing around with the screws and almost stripping them with an undersize phillips bit. This kit came with the correct size bit (I believe it was a Phillips #3) and with that I was able to get a tight grip even on the damaged ones and first strike- movement! I just can't recommend it enough. This would be really good for demolition and stuff too, like dismantling an RV or something, things like that. I will also say that the bits are a good quality in themselves- I was able to adapt one to a normal driver through a series of shanks and a socket, and the bits do well. Overall, good value for the money and with the lifetime warranty, it's a no-brainer purchase. This tool has earned a permanent spot in my toolbox.

Wish I had this years ago!! Very easy to use, works fantastic, used it on to take off brake rotors. Couple hits and the old rusted screws came right off.

I brought this to work to occasionally use on equipment. Only used it 2 or 3 times. I will say, it's done its job every time but the bits are pretty soft and I don't think I'll get many uses out of them, the phillips bit is starting to twist at the end. It's heavy and the build quality of the actual driver is good, just the bits won't last very long if it's something you use often.

Good quality cant go wrong, heavy duty does the job well

Had been struggling with a stripped rotor screw on my 03 Honda civic. Was going to resort to drilling it out but I decided to give this tool a shot first. Worked great, had the screw out within a few minutes! This will stay in my tool arsenal. Something I probably won't use often but when I need it, I’ll be glad I have it.

There were plenty of impact drivers listed when I searched, but when I saw the Craftsman brand it reminded me of the quality I used to pay for. When I opened the box I realized the quality is still there,b this is a heavy tool that will outlast anyone that uses it!

This is a great tool for removing seized or even partially stripped screws. Invaluable if you change Honda brake rotors with the screws, or for other applications. It's extremely sturdy and it's weight make the quality apparent. Highly impressed and worth the money!
