George and the Blue Moon (George's Secret Key)

My 5 years old son loooves the series about George. And we (me and husband) love it as well. The story line is dynamic and full of cosmos-related themes. Additionally there are inserts explaining scientific concepts (e.d. Drake equation). We do not read them to our son, yet, as he prefers to follow the story line. I recommend it every kid fascinated with space!

My 7 year old daughter absolutely adores this book and cannot wait to get to our next reading. She insists on being read to every night, that's her routine. She is invested in the plot and I love having the gray pages that explain the science behind the story.

Loved this book. Great essays by scientists and experts on topics in the story are found throughout the book.

My seven year old son love this book as well as the rest of the series. He's hoping that the series doesn't end!

My son loves the George series from Lucy & Stephen Hawking. This is the 5th book in the series. I highly recommend it for your children. It's a real adventure.

My son is 10 years old and a friend introduced him to this series. He loves these books and reads them without prompting. He is interested in space and really enjoys the story plus the interesting sections that really explain space related things. I am grateful that there are now books that make science interesting and a part of daily life.

one of the good collections for 9 year olds

Toda a série de livros "George e os Segredos do Universo" é maravilhosa. Comprei "George and the Blue Moon" e "George and the Ship of Time" para completar a coleção de minha filha, para que eu e minha esposa nos revesamos na leitura toda noite, pois ela tem apenas sete anos e ainda não consegue ler em inglês. Mas ela ama muito as aventuras e descobertas científicas de George e Annie, Eric e o supercomputador Cosmos. Os livros despertaram um sentido de deslumbramento pelos mistérios do universo e da ciência e impulsionaram sua curiosidade para a física, química, biologia. Claro que ela já era curiosa, como toda criança de sete anos, mas a leitura despertou uma curiosidade muito maior. Recomendo! É uma excelente atividade familiar. As histórias são interessantes e educativas para os adultos também.

Dick... con el mismo interés y sensación de amenidad... que la ficción sea garantía de cumplimiento profético es otra cosa (tal vez se esté basculando hacia el ensayo generador de aplicaciones.... Ufff! hasta me dolió la cabellera con esta última frase) por mí, ponerle otras estrellas más Disfrutar esta lectura :)
