Honestly, just buy it. We were looking for a soft toy to give our son (9) for Christmas. Its perfect. Had to fluff it up, but this octopus makes everyone in the room happy. It is SOFT SOFT and the arms are fun to wrap around and snuggle with. Maybe not the best thing for a little little kid. We got the 24 inch and I'm very happy with the size and little man loves his grumpy Octopus.

I purchased this toy for a training a young horse before we start her in a saddle. This octopus is perfect for that because it has stretchable tentacle that can be elongated and tided to other things - like loops and hoops. The color of the toy is beautiful. The materials is soft and pleasant to touch. Highly recommended.

I ordered this adorable 7” blue stiffed octopus. It is so cute and so soft but, buyer beware, the 7” description is only accurate when outstretching the tentacles to full length - see photo for comparison to my hand.

Definitely a successful purchase! My 4-year-old loves it! I bought the largest one I could and I'm so thrilled with how often I see her carrying it down the stairs. Compared to her size, it's pretty big. The head is the size of a pillow for her and she'll wrap the tentacles around her body. It's pretty cute. My other older kids are jealous and I'm considering buying it again once it goes on sale.
