PLATT Bike Seat Post Clamp Aluminium Alloy Bicycle Quick Release Seatpost Collar 28.6mm / 31.8mm /34.9mm

Followed the instructions, measured my seat post hole, and purchased the clamp that matched its diameter range. Perfect fit. I purchased a red clamp to match the red PLATT seat post I also bought; in my case, the reds match. Barely registered to me in terms of weight; it's light. That said, it's also strong. I cranked down on mine, ensuring I didn't turn the night so tight I couldn't seat the lever fully. This thing has my seat post held very tightly, and my seat hasn't even had an inkling it will move at all. Great design that matches the seat post, easy to use and install, and I know it's easy to adjust because I played around with the lever and nut until I was happy with how it held my seat post in place. If you want a bit of functional sparkle (a "farkle," if you will) for your bike, this clamp and a PLATT seat post are a good choice.

Works perfect! For BMX bike.

It's wonderful, but there's no way for it to stay in place... I bought it for my Electric Scooter I bring to work from the parking lot to the building and back... My car is small, so I have to uninstall the seat to put it in the back then reinstall before I ride. The ring doesn't stay when I undid the screw... I have to readjust it before I install the seat. It will be nice if there's something to hold it in place after installing it to the pole it was built for.

Well, this just goes to show you that I cannot look at my seat post before ordering a clamp for it because there is a clamp already built into my seat post. So basically I ordered this clamp just to take the screw out of the back and the quick release lover, and use them as shown in this picture. Needless to say this review isn’t about the product at its 100% capability as I eliminated 70% of it by not needing it at all. I should probably return this thing and get my nine dollars back because I just spent 10 bucks for a hex nut.
