Do the cork boards come off easily?

Most fell of the wall but The ones that didn't peeled off the wall easily.. did take a little bit of the paint off the wall when peeling off...

I just wondered if the sticky back on them takes off paint once I remove them from my wall at the end of the year?

I haven't taken mine off but... the adhesive is strong so I'm assuming that not only will some paint come off, but that I will also need to scrape some of the board off and thus take paint off. If you're thinking for student digs, I'd avoid. They do look great though!

How do I remove these to transfer to another room?

I tried to carefully remove the cork boards, but they still left marks on the wall, but they were stuck on to lining paper which had been painted in a bedroom.

When you remove them will it peel paint off?

yep. Mine fell off on a particularly rainy night. It ripped the paint off of the wall and left pin marks in the wall too from the pins. Bought a magnetic whiteboard instead
