New Balance Women's 515 V1 Sneaker

I sooooo wanted to love these shoes. I love the New Balance brand and the color is fantastic -- a beautiful dark teal green with just a hint of shimmer. I wasn't crazy about the bright lime green accents (back heel and laces). It really is brighter than the picture, but laces are easily swapped so that wouldn't have stopped me from keeping them. I think white or black would both be striking on this shoe. But there the pleasure ends )-: I have a high arch and normal width feet, and I underpronate which means my feet roll to the outside. These shoes have a low arch so it doesn't even touch my arch even with inserts. The other oddity is that the arch is placed further back toward the heel when compared to my other new balance shoes, so the start of the arch just touches the heel of my foot. There is no real padding in the sole of the shoe so when I walk it feels like my heel is hitting a solid piece of something. The fit is odd, I had significant heel slippage that I don't normally have with this brand. The final two things are a manufacturing issue. Firstly, instead of stitching the entire base of the tongue of the shoe they only stitched the very middle, meaning that when you put it on the tongue can fold and you have to remove the shoe and try to put it on again without having it move on you. Secondly, the toe has and odd extra fold of leather inside, like they took a round piece, cut straight and then overlapped it so there's multiple layers. That takes up some of the toe box. I also found that when I stuck my fingers inside there were globs of glue in the toe -- not sure how long that would hold up honestly. So unfortunately I am going to have to return these. Such a shame as I thought visually they were quite striking.

My husband had (has?) Plantar Fasciitis from working hard on his feet. He's always worn skate shoes and this was a wake up call that we ain't kids no more. His coworkers kept telling him "New Balance, New Balance!" The day he went to Big 5 and came home wearing his first pair he would NOT SHUT UP! I heard about how awesome the shoes were for weeks, actually I'm STILL hearing about it. It was a little annoying but I was so relieved for him. Then, he turned to me unrelenting, and was like "you have to get a pair!" He picked out the bright blue ones and I told myself I would start running if I bought them. Well, I haven't started running but they make me want to! I'm a nursing student, constantly studying on my butt but I can tell I'm gonna wear these once I'm a nurse. They are so lightweight you barely feel like you're wearing shoes and the the base of support is really wide but the style of the shoe is sleek. I'm an Uggs and flip-flop kind of girl and I struggle with feeling confined in tennis shoes but these are truly awesome.

I love these sneakers. I was looking for a pair of black sneakers with just a hint of color and these were perfect. They're very comfortable too. This was my first pair of New Balance and I would definitely purchase again. My only issue is that I clicked on a size 6M (medium width) and when added I added it to my cart and went to check out, Amazon had switched the size to 6D (wide width). At first I thought it was my mistake so I deleted it from my cart and added the 6M again, and again it automatically switched to a 6D in my cart. I decided to take a chance and order them anyway and the 6D ended up fitting just fine. They didn't feel too big or too wide. I don't have wide feet and never wear wide width shoes, but these ended up fitting great so I decided to keep them. They feel just like my other size 6M sneakers.

I bought this shoe in a 9 1/2. I wear the same size in Nike tennis/ running shoes. I wear a 8 1/2 in heels. So in my opinion they run small.What I like about them;I love the color and style. They look just like the picture and description. They're comfortable and look good on.What I don't like about them;The foot bed insertions are not glued down so they're bowed up and not laying down flat. I can fix this problem but it's annoying seeing as much as you pay for a pair of shoes this should already be done.The outside of the shoes at the toe tip doesn't look like it's been sewed correctly. The right one looks bunched up. It's not really noticeable from a far. Still I don't like this. They should be symmetrical.Nice shoes in all. I'm asking for an exchange. I hope the next pair will be better.

I normally wear a 5.5 in shoes, so that's what I bought - when I first started wearing them they were somewhat small (a little uncomfortable, but not unwearable) but now they have stretched a bit and fit perfectly. I would recommend buying your normal size in this shoe and then waiting for them to break in (as long as you don't mind them being a little tight around the big toe at first!)Otherwise, I really love this shoe. The color is exactly what I wanted; I needed a gray/navy casual shoe to wear on a daily basis. (I wear scrubs to work and the rest of the time wear running shorts and t-shirts) and this color scheme pretty much goes with everything. I have gotten lots of compliments. The "N" logo on the side is slightly iridescent, just FYI - I think it's really cute but I don't know if everyone would! Overall, the shoe gets a 10/10 from me!

I bought these in black a while ago and absolutely loved them. I have problem feet and was surprised to find I wasn't in pain after wearing them all day. I bought these because they were super cheap compared to the normal price. Although the footbed feels about the same, they feel about 1/2 to possibly even a whole size smaller than the other ones I have in the same exact size. You would think that the same brand, same style, same everything but color would get you the same fit but nope. All in all, it is a good shoe and I am happy with them. Just be ready to send them back for a different size.

Der Schuh ist in der Passform wie erwartet. Leider ist die Farbe nicht pink, sondern ein abgeschwächter Rose' Ton, der nicht gewollt war. Die Schachtel war beschädigt und das Papier innen zerrissen. Also sicherlich zurückgeschickt und die Bestellnummer mal für eine ähnliche Farbe verwendet.

Super bequemer . Sind schon meine zweiten. Top
