Great Item
I have say some people have complained about the size not being exact. Yes this material is thin and yes this item might not be exactly 42' x 42', but I don't care and I didn't measure! The weave is tight and it was made to protect against the element associated with heat. I have spent months looking up Shemaughs and Blackhawk had the best reviews. Most Shemaughs (other brands) had crazy comments about smell, holes, and stains. Blackhawks didn't. I had a chance to look at some of the other competitor's shemaughs and they seemed fine at the local military surplus store, but it was not in the color I wanted (olive drab and black). When it comes to buying items I have not personally seen, I will always trust Blackhawk. Amazon Price ($13.91) is a bit high, but I bought the shemaugh through K.M. Outfitters ($7.88) and they were extreme fast (prices as of November 27, 2013). Other shemaughs were about as cheap, but Blackhawk has quality over quantity mindset, but if you play your cards right you can get almost as cheap as the other one. I bought two and paid $22.94, which includes shipping.Semper Fi,A Marine and police officer

Top quality. Best quality shemagh on Amazon.
Top quality shemagh. Nice weave. Thick, not the translucent garbage they pass off as a shemagh. Keeps the sand and sun off. Keeps you cool in summer, and warm on colder days. If you make a hadji hat out of it, it is as good as any winter hat. Hiking in the cold, makes a great scarf and keeps the cold off your face when wrapped properly. In the summer, when hiking, keeps your ears, neck and face from getting burned. It is probably the single most versatile piece of clothing one could carry on any adventure. This one is a bit more expensive than the others, but you get what you pay for. It will last a very long time.

Having fun
trying all the different ways you can use this shemaugh. More than enough information on how to put these on and the variations of use on you-tube. I have the coyote tan and black and have not washed it yet. I do not think that the dyes like the OD green are going to matter but I would still hand wash it in some warm H20 and line dry it. It does add that extra layer of warmth on those cold hunting days or just working in the yard. You might get some strange looks from people passing by but just wave and go about your business. LOL Size is true to the description and no problems with the craftsmanship. If you do not want to wear it it makes a nice wall hanging in your equipment room.

As expected, definitely NOT colorfast
As described and definitely better quality than some others. Is a thin cotton material but some others are super thin. The color is definitely NOT set in and I thought the water would never run clean. That is my only complaint, I wish they would be colorfast. I see no reason for them to NOT be colorfast. I read up on a process that is supposed to help make it colorfast so I will try it but it will suck if the color bleeds at every wash and yes I hand washed in cold water. I believe to colorfast they say to add salt and vinegar to the water so I guess I will try that. If anyone has a better tip please let me know. Thanks! Now to learn how to put this thing on lol

High quality product, EXCELLENT customer service, and fast shipping
I ordered the Cotoye Tan/Black Shemaugh, but received an Olive/Black Shemaugh instead. I work graveyard shift so I sent an e-mail at some ungodly hour of the night the same day I received the product, and was surprised to get a reply almost instantly. After explaining the mix up, I received a tracking number for my replacement instantly. I've never had customer service that fast or attentive before. As for the product, its high quality (like all of Blackhawks products) and made of a thin, breathable material that also has a rugged, durable feel. Couldn't be happier with my purchase!

Good shemagh for the moeny
Having had good experiences with Blackhawk products in the past, I bought the coyote tan shemagh for it's all-purpose use in various outdoor activities. The tan is definitely darker than pictured on the website, which leads me to believe that the od green one would be darker as well. It comes packaged in a heavy-duty clear plastic pouch with ziplock-style zipper which is nice for when you need to pack it and want to keep it dry. The material is very durable and rip-resistant, but requires hand washing and hang-drying. It is big enough that it fits my extra-large head without issues in any wrapping style. It is surprisingly warm as well and will be great for activities where I'm out in the wind as the layering effect when wrapping it is very effective at blocking air flow. All in all, it's a nice product. My only gripe is that it is made in Pakistan. For the price you pay, I'd expect an American-Made product.

You won't be disappointed.
I go shooting almost weekly in all weather and wear this comfortably. Both keeps the sun off your neck and warm in the cold weather. Thin material allows your skin to breath and not weighted down. Also wear it in public as a scarf and it looks good if I do say so myself. All in all, very pleased. High quality. Doesn't have a smell like some of them do and ships very quickly. You won't be disappointed.

Good quality, true to size
Received my BLACKHAWK! shemagh and love it. Just wanted to leave feedback that the size is a true 44". It's important for me, as I have a large head. I had previously ordered a shemagh from Rothco and love it too, but at 42" I was struggling to tie some of the head-wrap styles. This does the trick. I'm no shemagh expert, but the quality is very good, like the Rothco.Just a note that the color is not as pictured. The tan/black (coyote) color is somewhere between the two colors shown.
