I actually like ironing now!
I'm a fan of crispy looking shirts and pants and not a fan of ironing. Until now. Because whoa. This starch is AMAZING! And made in the USA. I'm all about supporting my fellow countrymen. But back to the point. I love that it's not an aerosol type spray. It's simple to use. Shake it up, spray it across your garment and then iron away! It takes less time and less effort to iron my clothes now as the starch does all the work! My shirts retain their shape; even after having sat in them! My collars stay on point. And the creases to my pants have never looked so amazing! There is a slight smell or perfume so to say, but it's so benign and honestly it just smells like fresh linen to me. It pretty much disappears once I'm done ironing, unless you use a lot of spray, then it kind of lingers, but it's not offensive. And that's another awesome thing about this starch, you really don't need to use a lot for it to be effective. I have a particularly obstinate shirt that wrinkles if you look at it wrong. The first time I used the starch I went overboard, subsequent times I've learned I don't need the amount of starch I formally used to make said shirt behave. My clothes now iron faster, look better, don't have funky starch odors and do not look like I used glue to get them to stay wrinkle-free (not that I've tried that, though it was most likely the next resort if this didn't work). And three bottles for $15? I am in love. You could be too.

Awesome Product & Service!
Excellent product and company. I had one bad bottle out of three and the company sent me a courtesy set at no cost. But the spray itself is really good! Love the smell and great product!

Not much better than water
Didn’t find that it worked any better than water. Also difficult to spray and constantly having to adjust the direction of the spray bottle difficult to use.

Best overall starch and great travel size
Best starch that makes garments crisp and does not stick to your iron. Sprays evenly and does not get clogged up. Like the travel size. I have purchased these several times and plan to continue. One bottle last me about 3 to 4 weeks. This starch gets the job done better than other brands. Would recommend.

The secret weapon that makes ironing suck less.
This starch just works so well. I hesitate to call it starch because it doesn't come with all the Faults that spraycan brand has. Its a pump, so it isn't spitting blobs of starch from the spraycan nozzle. I have yet to burn, singe, or scorch it or anything I was ironing with it. It doesn't leave gunk all over my iron. My shirts don't look shiny after I iron them. The pump spray makes it easier to control how much you actually apply. There is a perfume scent. I noticed it immediately. It is light, not offensive, and doesn't linger in the finished garment. Its like a fabric softener smell. I don't notice it during the day while I am wearing the shirts.

Must-have product for ironing
I usually buy the "Magic Sizing" or whatever ironing starch is available at Target. It was only ok, I had never used anything else so I didn't really know how subpar it was. I came across the Oxford & Wells starch while searching for something else and thought I'd give it a try. I'm so glad I did! This stuff is great. First of all, I like that it's in a spray bottle. Better for the environment and I can tell that one bottle is going to last a long time. The aerosol stuff seems to get depleted really quickly. It has a nice, light smell and is easy to spray. I ironed a pair of dress pants and shirt with it and they both came out perfect! I only had to go over each area once and it was perfect pressed. I was also able to get a nice crease in my pants, which I usually can't accomplish. Finally, it's a really good deal, 3 bottles at a good price with free super saver shipping. This is THE starch I will be buying from now on.

Now you can have crisp shirts without manufacturers who have a stiff upper lip!
Oxford & Wells. Even the name exudes the persona of a tweedy haberdashery or a butler assistant laying out your perfectly tailored outfit for the day. There are times where a name is conjured for marketing purposes but hasn't the foggiest connection to a product's origin or function. (Think Haagen Dazs ice cream..... founded in Bronx, New York!) This is almost one of those times as well, as the manufacturer isn't a fine old British firm but is based in....Texas?! No matter. Their product functions every bit as "properly" as the sound of the name would imply. Some weird genetic malfunction enables me to actually enjoy ironing. Or at least having the crisp and meticulous pressing reserved for those taking the time to do it correctly yourself and not knocked out, production-line piece work style. This is by far the best product I've ever used to achieve an outstanding result. Shirts don't come out like wearing cardboard, or alternately wrinkle outrageously just driving to work. There's just a beautiful, comfortable, long lasting finish. Even on dark items, there's no white flaking and caking that's routine with most products that serve this function. I checked their web site to see if they have some secret formula. But it states the main ingredient is simply corn starch. Go figure. If you're going to take the time to iron your own, spend a little extra coin for this product. I was swayed by all the superlative reviews, and now I can completely concur. Very satisfied.

Beware of white splotches -- Not as good as the other reviews say
After reading the other reviews, I was actually a little excited about trying out a new starch spray. But it didn't take long for the disappointment to set it. While the overall ability for the product to make ironing easy and clothing fresh looking was quite good (comparable to other products I've used), it leaves white splotches all over my dress shirts. At first I thought it was my iron or something with my washing machine, but then after some more investigating I realized the issue was this spray starch. Then, I thought I wasn't using the product correctly, so I followed the directions exactly, shaking the bottle thoroughly before use and only using the recommended amount. I still ended up with white splotches. My suggestion: Stick with the cheaper stuff. If anyone wants to try this stuff, I have 2 1/2 bottles you can have.
