Made from a Very Magnetic Steel, Amazon heading says COPPER? copper color added to make you think.
Made from a Very Magnetic Steel while the Amazon heading says COPPER? Very disappointing to learn that they are just a coated steel clamps that will rust. The photo on Amazon shows a different design clamp and if you look closely the photo shows a copper hinge pin, which would reduce the resistance in transferring the power to each side of the clamp, but my clamps have a silver colored steel pin which would increase the resistance, lower current flows and decrease the current rating capacity of these clamps. I have a 50 amp source that I will connect these to, just for fun, and watch how high the temperature goes with my Thermal Camera, but I don't expect for these clamps to work very well at 50 amps. These will rust and decrease their power handing capacity over time. I was planning to use these on my yacht, but now I will probable be sending them back. Good Luck!

Good Solder Connection
I like the clamp design. They look like they will grip terminals well. Seems sturdy. I bought them for replacement of busted clamps on my battery tender. The handle covers slip off easily enough and I was able to get a good solder connection.

My trolling boat motor came with ring terminals instead of clamps on it, but the battery i was using at the time didn't have screw terminals, only battery posts. To fix that, I bought these, cut off the old ends and soldered these on. It's been many years and they are still working great!
