Very flimsy
This really isn't fit for purpose. It's very flimsy, one of the gold washers on the hole for the cord came off on first use. If it rains, the water just pools in the middle and pushed the cover in, pulling the cord tight will not stop that or hold it down in the wind. I switched to bungee cords but I can see the fabric ripping if we get a gale. I'm going to make a wooden roof for the composter. Don't bother with this.

No good without a roof - it will fill with water.
It does the job, but only after I added my own wooden 'roof' to the bin - you have to find a way of creating a type of apex roof, otherwise the plastic cover will just fill with rain water. So this product will not be any use for the composter without some kind of wooden roof.

Well made but doesn't do the job
This is a well made product, but.... The clip on the string doesn't stay fast, so can't keep it gathered and in place. I replaced the string with bungee cord and pulled it really tight, but .... the cover blew off the top of the compost in not much wind. I then attached the bungee cord to a hook attached to the compost bin. Today the wind is stronger and the cover is flying around, not long before it rips itself to shreds. Must go and remove it, not sure what else I could use it for.

Useful cover.
Used to cover compost bin at allotment.. Took a while to pull the strings tight enough but does the job.

Not fit for purpose
The position of the cord is wrong. It does not tighten enough to stop the wind getting underneath and take the cove off the compost bin. Should be at a corner. Sags in the middle after rain and is already tearing at the corners.
