Amazing, Amazing Amazing Disney Music Book!
This Disney teaching little fingers to play music book is absolutely amazing! It is so fun for little ones to learn music that they know and love. The joy I see on my little ones faces while learning one of their favorite Disney songs is worth all the hard work. I would Highly Recommend this Disney teaching book for anyone who loves Disney or wanting a great way to learn Disney tunes.

Easy Music
This looks a little more advanced than the first book in this series but should be easy enough for a new piano student. I liked it because it contains songs that kids know, whereas the first "Teaching Little Fingers" book is the same music I learned to play 60 years ago, and today's kids won't recognize it. I also want to give a shout out to the seller Lafayette Music. I made a mistake on their seller feedback, which I deleted, but I now can't give them the five stars they deserve.

Great piano series!!
I'm a retired high school theatre teacher and when I was young I taught piano to work my way through college. I used the whole June Weybright series for my students. Now that I'm retired I'm back teaching youngsters to make a little extra money and I'm back using these wonderful books. I like them because there are none of the silly phoo-phoo stuff you find in most of the books today, just teaching all the basics. All these books are terrific.

Good Songs for Early Learners of Any Age
Our first Little Fingers book had our 4th grader playing christmas carols in 10 minutes. These aren't as easy or as simple (sharps and flats abound), but she was thrilled to receive it. Classic Disney (Winnie the Pooh, Bare Necessities) are her faves, and also more easily recognizable than ballads from Hunchback and Tarzan. Still, this series is great for early learners. I highly recommend this book series, as well as Keysies (stickers for the keys) for any age learning to play and read music.

Good. Not for earliest beginner.
This is not for the “earliest beginner” but the songs are fairly simple...maybe for someone who’s been playing for a few months to a year. An adult would certainly be able to play them fairly soon, but for kids who progress more slowly it would take a while.

beautifully easy arrangements
Who doesn't love a good Disney song? These classics are great alone for beginners or as duets!

Needs More Catchy Tunes
My kids(5&7) are up and coming pianists. They love to mess around with the piano on their own at different times of the day. They enjoy a few of the songs in this book. We use several different teaching books including the Teaching Little Fingers to Play- beginning course. But they don't want to just learn music, they want to play music, the real stuff- ASAP! That's the way I learned: pure desire. I do spend time going over basic music skills, theory and easy finger exercises; however, the bulk of our time and their practice is learning songs. It's mostly rote and ear, but they love to play the catchy, memorable, to them, songs until they have perfected them. Then they show them off to others. They're eager to do this without me urging them on or grinding the lessons into their easily distracted minds- so, I'm running with it, and trying to find music that appeals to them. There's only a few songs in this book, and the only ones they like are The Siamese Cats, Kiss the Girl and somewhat, Winnie the Pooh. The rest of the songs are too boring for them or a bit obscure. They include teacher accompaniments and some finger numbering. The songs sound OK and with repeated practice the children get them down fairly quickly. Each child is different and learns as such. I pencil the ivories with numbers and notes; play the song for them, suggesting fingerings, and let them go- helping them when they ask or when they're in the mood, leaving them alone when they want private time with the instrument. An updated book with more popular songs sure would be great!

Great Book
This is a great book that has songs from kids Disney movies. It is at the same level as the classic John Thompson "Teaching Little Fingers to Play" book. These songs help to motivate kids to want to play the piano because the songs are simple enough for them to play without having had a lot of experience playing.
