Easy to apply. Works great. Seems to stick well. Good quality and price. No smell. It’s stopping cold air from seeping in through my windows. And it’s nice and clear.

We had window ac units that were inserted improperly and were struggling with rain and bugs coming through. I bought this tape to assist with this issue. After heavy application, I do mean we layered up and basically built a wall around the units. I was pleased to find it kept out 90% of the bugs and the rain. It held on for about 5 months, with very little modification and reapplications. It was a great solution to a short term fix. Taking off the tape is a pain, the adhesive is very strong and can take up paint and leaves residual goo on items. Scrubbing and wiping it helps very little. I wouldn’t use this to help with thermal regulation, I’d use for a pure physical blockade. For reference we used most of a two pack of this stuff for two window units. Depending on your situation I’d say buy a roll per window.

I used this on a couple of older windows that always leak a little cold air, and it actually helped more than I expected. The tape is pretty transparant, doesn’t look messy, and it goes on smooth if you take your time. Repeat, you MUST TAKE YOUR TIME. I also liked that it didn’t leave gunk behind when I had to adjust a section so thats a huge plus there. For basic draft control, it does its job without turning into a headache. The only thing keeping it from a full five stars is that the isolatoin could be a bit stronger on really windy days. It still helps, just not as much as a full plastic window kit. But for quick sealing or small gaps, it’s great. Overall, it’s a solid option that adheres well and doesn’t trash your window frames. Good price when on sale. I think I'd pay a little extra for window film next time.

I used this XFasten Transparent Window Weather Sealing Tape along with the Duck Brand shrink film, mainly to make sure the sides around my window AC were completely sealed. It worked extremely well. The tape sticks firmly, creates a tight seal, and helps block out any cold air that might sneak in through small gaps. One thing I really like is that it’s clear and low-profile, so it doesn’t look messy or obvious once applied. It also doesn’t leave that cloudy residue some tapes leave behind, which makes me confident it’ll come off cleanly when it’s time to remove it. If you’re using a window insulation kit or trying to seal up drafts around an AC, this tape is a great addition. It adds extra protection, stays in place, and keeps the edges airtight.

Works great! Easy to apply. Fits nicely against the window and door seams. Tape is sticky.

Works great sticking metallic insulation on the windows. Even in the heat it doesn’t melt the adhesive into a sticky mess and peeled off to replace easy. Great product.

Actually worked really well! I live in a very drafty 100 year old home. We need new windows but this does the trick for now. Unsure about removal but I would probably use a hair dryer to soften the glue. I know it would take the stain off of wooden windows though as I accidentally caught it on the window sill and it left a mark. Wasn’t bothered as they need restained anyway!

I had a draught coming through my window and brought this to reduce the cold coming into my apartment. I head shocked at how dramatically the tape immediately reduced the draught and has insulated the apartment. Sticks incredibly well and is well priced!

If you don't mind cleaning over where the tape was for 1 hour after removing the tape this is fine. I don't know why but a heavy residue was left and incredibly difficult to clean. This is definitely not why we bought this product. I'm not sure if there are many limitations on how long you can leave the product on for?

Excellent!! I have many drafty windows in my house and used this , along with our very cold Alberta winters, this product amazing stopped the drafting on all my windows!! I even put a layer around my fireplace!! I don’t use it anymore so no risk of a fire, nor does it stick to brick very well,, but it works good enough for me, at least I will get some protection for my wood burning fireplace, as the drafting on the fireplace is quite strong,, it works great, and I’m very satisfied!!!!

Strong tape, easy to mount. After the removal I used anti glue material to remove glue leftovers from the window fence.

Il n'y a pas besoin de compétences particulières pour l'appliquer, et il adhère parfaitement à la fenêtre. Efficace contre les courants d'air : Depuis que j'ai utilisé ce ruban, j'ai constaté une vraie différence. Les courants d'air qui passaient par les fenêtres ont disparu, et la température dans la pièce est plus stable. Cela m'a permis de réduire l'utilisation du chauffage, ce qui est un vrai plus en hiver. En résumé, le ruban XFasten est une solution simple, efficace et discrète pour isoler les fenêtres des courants d’air et améliorer l’isolation thermique. Il fait exactement ce que l’on attend de lui, sans laisser de traces ni causer de tracas. Je le recommande vivement à toute personne cherchant une méthode facile pour améliorer l’isolation de ses fenêtres.
